No, the crux of my argument was not If Joe did this...If Joe did that...

My point was Joe wanted to fight Hopkins/Roy Jones in their primes, but they avoided him plain and simple.

Joe has accomplished plenty in his career and would have accomplished a lot more given the opportunity. E.g. the first unification fight that came his way, he demolished the fighter.

Can't believe that Welsh thread starter typed all that bull****...thinking it was gonna impress or sway anyone who's objective and knows better....

          The **** outta here...

and for the record...for all of you agreeing with him.....because you're uhhhh....coughSHEEPcough....

Most of us American Boxing fans didn't approve of Calzaghe well before this bull****, late American run.....we recognized he was contriving an undefeated record in his backyard.....takin' out has beens and local villagers....we saw how he was hiding out and ruling in the 168 wasteland........not to mention allll the unwarranted arrogance and excuses he gave us...

You see...that's the difference between American Boxing fans and other countries' Boxing fans.....for the most part, we don't care where a fighter's from....we'll recognize and appreciate the real deal....we may have a Mexican, a Filipino, or a Puerto Rican as our favorite fighter....the only reason we get nationalistic is because they start with that ****....

"At the end of the day..."....Joe Calzaghe is/was...

a very good Boxer-Slapper with a contrived, undefeated record and a large, ultranationalistic following predominantly comprised of blind, obnoxious, and uneducated superfans.
          End of story.

P*ss off if you don't like it...

Ah okay so you're one of the nutty Joe fans that lies. Gotcha.

Hilarious. I'm Roy Jones, P4P the best and I'm avoiding some WBO trinket holder talking **** but refusing to leave his backyard who is racking up defenses against David Starie and Branko Sobot.

Fair enough. I sat around here for 3 years and watched the trolls run rampant and unchecked.

Any attempt to have a civil conversation was met with Anti US trolling, spam and hate, and more Joe is GOD I want to suck his **** posts.

The lies and delusions of most Joe fans are beyond reason. There is no cycle of trolling. If I post about Joe or not, the ****gobblers will continue to make up **** like ROY JONES avoided Joe Calzaghe in his prime.

I've given Joe props before and never said he was a ****ty fighter.

Right like you and Joe's fans aren't arrogant or nationalistic.

Also since you are a Joe fan you probably aren't smart enough to know what racist means. Note that the poster never mentioned Joe's race.

                  Keep trying though.

Than you, "The C.E.O.", for your intelligent, objective reply. Truly insightful. For the record, as you like to put it and I don't mean to offend any Americans here, but American has a long history of being disrespectful to foreign fighters.

And building a reputation in his backyard? Ha! 20+ of his fights have been in England. If you've been to the UK you'll understand a Welshman fighting in England is hardly in his backyard. Many of his fights have been in front of rascist idiots like yourself:

. Please, if you don't like him, can you just give a mature answer without resorting to childish, petty insults.

At least in my original post, I went through his career and pointed out the things he's accomplished. I'm not a 'nuthugger' as some people call it, I'm simply objective. I'm not saying he's the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard or that he would have beaten a prime RJJ, I'm just pointing out that he's a world class act who should be more respected by US fans (and probably would have had he been born in Philadelphia).
