Right like you and Joe's fans aren't arrogant or nationalistic.

Also since you are a Joe fan you probably aren't smart enough to know what racist means. Note that the poster never mentioned Joe's race.
Okay, I'm a little confused here. What does race have to do with anything?

And building a reputation in his backyard? Ha! 20+ of his fights have been in England. If you've been to the UK you'll understand a Welshman fighting in England is hardly in his backyard. Many of his fights have been in front of rascist idiots like yourself: . Please, if you don't like him, can you just give a mature answer without resorting to childish, petty insults.

At least in my original post, I went through his career and pointed out the things he's accomplished. I'm not a 'nuthugger' as some people call it, I'm simply objective. I'm not saying he's the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard or that he would have beaten a prime RJJ, I'm just pointing out that he's a world class act who should be more respected by US fans (and probably would have had he been born in Philadelphia).
Probably would have fought bigger names too, to earn that respect. Of course only if he was born in Philly.

Yup. I love it. Even the so called "reasonable" Joe fans end up lying to prove their points.

Yet he's avoided me bringing this up in this thread over and over.

THIS IS WHY JOE FANBOYS GET NO RESPECT

And you also said Roy jones avoided him. LOL
Can I refer you to this link on the BBC Website, dated 22/11/2000:

              http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/wales/1035771.stm

Calzaghe says "He's one of the best fighters in the world and it would be a massive challenge". Calzaghe's promoter flew out to meet Jones' representatives a week later and nothing come of it, so yes I will stick by my assertion that Jones ducked Calzaghe years ago.

I'd also like to refer you to an incident in the 1990s regarding Roy Jones. Nigel Benn offered to fight Jones for FREE, giving Roy Jones his entire purse, but Jones refused the fight. Now that is what most people would define DUCKING as.

Former/current/future champions are not local villagers, and he only fought 6 people over 35 in his last 25 fights two of those where his last two fight when he was also over 35.

Challange the quality all you like but don't lie about ****.

Man STFU. My guess is you weren't even following boxing back then because if you were, you wouldn't even talk this nonsense.

Get real. For every quote you can come up, there are two or three that back another assertion. But common sense should tell you different...then again, common sense isn't as common as they make it out to be.

Okay wow you are hilarious. That article doesn't say anything at all.

Again why does the P4P champ get accused of ducking a trinket WBO champ at a weight below him.

You are hilarious. You read "Warren will fly out next week" and turned that into ROY DUCKED JOE.

And you claim to be objective. Go write another ****ing novel about your boyfriend Joe

                    So once again y

I responded to the RJJ point.

Here is a link regarding Hopkins:

                      http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/wales/1991289.stm

Why are you so sure that RJJ/Hopkins didn't duck Calzaghe years ago?

And please explain why I am a so called "reasonable" fan. I'm guessing the quotation marks are sarcastic hmm?
