the same
I asked a few people in the media about this and the most interesting answer came from David Avila who used to run a lot of marathons
he said the manner at which Oscar was training (long distances specific meals catered to keep his weight low) it's hard to keep weight on. He said when he used to run he would have a hard time keeping his weight from dropping
someone also told me that Garcia didn't really know nutrition too well and a lot of what he did with Oscar was experiment. He initially started with Bojado and well you could see how well that worked
also Valero told me the night of the fight that he and Ortiz were let go early because 1. Oscar wasn't sparring that much, sometimes only when the cameras were on 2. they were getting the better of Oscar 3. he wanted the lighter hitting Fred Tukes and Mookie Pendarvis as his main sparrersComment

I have to admit, that wasn't the usual DLH that fought Manny, he looked dehydrated. But you can't blame that on Manny, considering Manny had to go up in weight. So both fighters had to adjust, it was just a matter of which one was going to adjust better and be more affective, so there's no excuses on either side.Comment
