Dela hoya this, dela hoya that!

DLH this, DLH that, when are we all gonna have enough of this? I mean like, cant we just accept, that DLH got beaten by a better fighter? Come on, now what about this Hatton guy? Is he gonna loose to Pacman becoz of Pacman's stance too????

Richard Schaefer said tha the fight night weigh-in was fully dressed. Hoodie. Shoes. Everything. Oscar was 147 fully dressed.

So, Oscar didn't gain two pounds. He likely DROPPED from the weigh in. Amazing.

I doubt very seriously if it was conditioning I believe the plan was to come in as light as possible to be able to match manny's speed but manny was just to fast with his hands and feet along with the southpaw stance all of them contributed to the delahoya loss, so stop making excuses and this is something oscar does every time he loses blames it on somebody else. Just like garcia said if he had kept sparring with the southpaws that more closely duplicated mannys style he would have had a better chance but he never figured the southpaw stance out in training so how in the world do you think he is going to figure out the best southpaw in the game come fight night? Oscar was simply beaten fair and square by the superior fighter but if I was him I would have never quit on the stool, he never even gave himself a chance to win or believed in himself he just quit when it got to hot which has tarnished his legacy even more.

Delahoya is still going to sell great number of ppvs, and i'd like to see him fight Chavez Jr.

Look up Ali and how he relived his prime years. Or Foreman. Or Barrera. Or Manuel Medina. Or Daniel Zaragoza. Or Holyfield. Or Tyson. Theres many more.
Yeah sure he can get more money thats because there are still some dummies willing to give it to him....Like the trainer said ..usually fighters his age move up in weight....who the hell is he trying to avoid by not moving up like his body is naturally supposed to? There is money at the weight he is supposed to be too so If "its for the money" then he can take a beating in the heavier weight classes just like he did in the lower division and lets face it OSCAR DE LA HOYA LOST , NOT BECAUSE OF CONDITIONING, SPARRING, DIET, OFF NIGHT, OLD AGE, SHOE LACES UNTIED OR THE SUN WAS IN HIS EYES. HE LOST BECAUSE MANNY PACQUIAO SHOWED UP! Maybe he was hoping for Pac to pull a Guzman.

DLH has never won a big fight. Pac beating DLH is no different.

DLH has never won a big fight. Pac beating DLH is no different. The Golden Boys career is about hype. DLH has been a good opponent his whole career. He has never won a career defining fight.

And after Pac beats Hatton expect more excuses. You cant satisfy them all. Pac had a dominate performance in the ring no question. What gets me is the blindness of some people not seeing the damage Pac brings to the ring. Fighters hitting the canvas, quitting on their stool, bloodied up, corner men waving the towel.

Pacquiao "I am just a fighter doing my job". His job is to give his opponent hell in that ring and the only way to beat him is to match his speed and intensity.

I personally agree with his conditioning coach... The reasons given are justified... Sparring is the key in training, the mistakes you make in sparring are the same mistakes you make in the ring.

If De La Hoya sparred more with Valero, he may have picked up on ways to improve fighting against southpaws. And by the sounds of the interview,
De La Hoya couldnt handle Valero in sparring hence why they sent him packing.

De La Hoya picked the wrong team for this fight.

I don't know if someone is hating or whatever but if a fighter who always was in his fights and was never really outclassed (even though he lost) there is always a need for reasons or a reason. I think it's logical thing. I personally thing there was something wrong with DLH but who cares. I think you should never give somebody 100% of the blame or glory because there are always two inside the ring. Every fighter is his own human being and has 50% of the cake. DLH screwed up for whatever reasons (wrong way to make the weight, wrong Coach (nothing against Nacho but if you know how he wants his boxers to box he was absolutely the wrong coach etc.) but on the other side you have Manny. And as much DLH screwed it up as much it was Manny who did it to him. DLH seemed some how dead but still you have to beat it out of him. I mean he could have easily outscored him but he really put it on him and beat him up. So Manny did a wonderful job and nobody should blame him for that. Every generation has his most skilled boxer and every generation also has his most famous boxer. I mean that's why ppl want a piece of DLH. So nobody is to blame with the exception of DLH but that's on him and not Manny... he did his things wrong and Manny did his things right so why you should blame him.

I'm somebody who really appreciates a guy like Mayweather cuz being in the ring a few times you really know how hard it is to the things this guy does. I really love watching him box, or Calderon etc. but I also appreciate guys who probably limited but make it up with heart. And Manny really make me respect him because not only have is mentality and his heart but he also showed a lot of boxing skills in his last 3 outings. I always had a problem with him being the number 1 pound for pound fighter but not any longer. It's well deserving. He has a lot of potential that seems he not even realises but to his own good he really takes instructions well and executes them.

It's sad that many ppl here have to hate. It seems like they think if I bash this dude my dude will look better. I'm the living proof you can like Mayweather & Pac & Cotto & Margarito and and and

I dont know about you guys but i was an amateur fighter and its true that sparring does it for you... as well as training..

For example i was beaten by a same guy twice in a row, but i think i was preparing well i did my gym work and my running, i was in shape but my sparring was weak i was sparring softly, and i was a welterweight and my sparring was with soft punchers, i even sparred with a flyweight all the time and i was getting good results in my fights until this guy came and beat me twice, the guy was a jr middleweight and punched like hell, and i was really afraid inside the ring that i would get Ko... i lost by desicion by fights..

So i change gyms and my new trainer had me doing my running, my gym work and my sparring was hard, relly hard, i even sparred a heavyweight, i was taking big shots from big guys, but i had to figure it out, and when the third fight came against the same guy who beat me twice (juan antonio lopez, i remember that name pretty well) it was in the national championships this time, i Ko him in 3 rounds.. that fight was so easy, and then i realize that boxing is a complete sport, is not just running, is not only gym work, is not just sparring, its a combination of all 3 at the highest level, and putting hard work, and extra hard work, and more work, and a game plan.. i went on to win 42 of out 44 fights with that way of thinking and preparing myself, until i broke my leg in a accident and couldnt fight anymore...

Garcia is right about that, but also, as i am close to some people in golden boy, and i was live in the pre fight, the fight, and post fight, i most tell you that Oscar didnt have too much confidence in Nacho in his corner during the fight, and Garcia did weaken Oscar a lot, with his diets, giving him for breakfast only a mix if g****s, strawberry and bananas, give me a break. breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a fighter.. and you need a good diet.. besides that and i dont want to get into the diet very much i know that Garcia`s diet was only water(vegetables) without much protein, so you figure it out...(weak legs at the fight).

But the truth is that Manny pacquiao prepared very well, he was in tremendous shape, xecuted his game plan and beat Oscar all the way, the guy is a phenom.. a great fighter.. manny deserves all the credit, and is not his problem what went wrong in Oscars camp..

By the way valero told me after the fight who is the one who dismisses the sparrings and the rest of the people in oscar´s camp.. (but garcia wont mentioned here)

if OScar is to fight again he needs mayweather that´s for sure.

                      nice picture & slogan.

Quick question how does one boxer own another boxer when that other boxers record is 0-1-1 against him & has put him in his ass 4x,while breaking his nose & cutting his face all while the other boxer is not only the 1# p4p fighter in the sport but the 1# star who commands paydays like a heavyweight. U tell me who got owned.

U sound like another bitter ******......
