I agree he is a fighter I like to watch but he was poorly managed and turned down fights and took other fights for less money. He has the exposure now after the Manny fights and he is widely known as a exciting man to watch. Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz is a hungry youngster that throws tons and tons of punches. He may not have lots of power but he keeps the combos coming in bunches. If JMM beats him it will be a good victory and should make for a great fight. Themore entertaining the fight is the better it will be for both fighters. All though Juan Diaz had the eye against Campbell and it seemed to bother him so if there is blood and it is coming from Diaz it may hinder him in the match up. Marquez gets fired up when he sees his own blood and is cut in almost every fight. I think he is going to some day be a legend and when all said and done and you run down his resume Juan Diaz will be remembere3d as a pretty formidable opponent....Lefty

A legend is somebody that would be above great. Marquez is flirting with great but is in the very dam good level. He has lost in his big fights and won't rematch Chris John. He should go on and try to get that rematch instead of waiting on Manny to fallin his lap.

A rematch with John wouldn't be a big fight. It'd be nice to have Marquez avenge is loss by staging a rematch here in the States, but at this point it's not very big. Nobody has ever heard of John 'cause he never leaves Indonesia!

If John were to demolish Juarez and Marquez beat Diaz, then that could possibily make the rematch a little more intriguing. But even then, is John gonna go up to lightweight for the fight??? I doubt Marquez drops all the way back down to 126.

If Marquez wants to be considered a "great," he should focus on dominating at lightweight. Wins against Diaz, Campbell, Guzman, etc., would go a long way in establishing his status. Even if he never got that rubbermatch with Pac.
