Do you consider Juan Manuel Marquez a legend?

he did what he did, and they are accomplishments that benefit his legacy
Chris John was 100% a Marquez win, and i thought he should have been given the nod over Pacman the second time in a close-fought but clear decision... but i don't want to get into an argument about the Pacman decisions as it's the same thing every time and no one changes their opinionsComment

that's like saying "take away Ruiz and Toney from Jones's resume and what are you left with"
he did what he did, and they are accomplishments that benefit his legacy

I respect your opinion.Comment

obviously the Roy wins are bigger achievements due to the nature but it's the same thing with Marquez' performances against John and Pacman being disregarded, on a smaller scaleComment

I don't disregard them at all, I'm just saying that if he's such a legend, he shouldn't consider two losses and a draw as his greatest accomplishments.Comment

those arent 'woulda' 'shoulda' 'coulda' fights for roy...those are legit, indisputable wins...
and even if you did take those away, he still has hopkins, tarver, griffin, hill on the resume..along with a run of pure dominance...ie points B,C,and D to backup his legend claimsComment
