This will be a great fight...

Angulo better pull this off and remain undefeated... the new young class of 154 is lookin real crazy for '09

hope to see him fight Vanes in the near future

Those two both have TON of potential, though. I wouldnt mind seeing each of them prove themselves on another level before making that one happen. Same goes for Kirkland and Greene.
Great division, 09 should be an awesome year for 154.

          tell me about it man...

and throw in there some of the other undefeated guys too... John Duddy, Yuri Foreman, Chavez Jr and you really have a hot division for 09

but i agree that Kirkland, Vanes, Angulo, and Greene will be the top 4 guys at 154 in the years to come.

Angulo and Vanes at Home Depot Center in 2010 sounds great!

If you survive Mayorga in the first few rounds then it's an easy win.

i havent seen alfredo fight, but if what i have heard is true he should stop mayorga in rounds 6-10.....

mayorga is pretty washed up at this point, his chin used to be great but its been well and truly cracked now, he has taken some nasty punishment...he is slow as hell also, honestly he really only has his power left

he will be dangerous for the first few rounds, but i have heard this kid has a good chin so if he can take mayorgas shots early, and then up the pressure, get in his face and wear him down he should take this one with a stoppage or at least a convincing points win....

there should be some pretty good exchanges, especially early in the fight, and i wouldnt be suprised if mayorga is leading before the 4th-6th round or so but alfredos pressure, youth and power will be too much for ricardo down the track
