Alfredo Angulo - He Lets His Fists Do The Talking

By T.K. Stewart - He is one of boxing's most promising young stars and he's the strong silent type.

Alfredo Angulo is preparing to fight tough-talking Nicaraguan Ricardo Mayorga on Feb. 14th at a site to be determined and unlike Mayorga - Angulo says he'll let his fists do the talking. [details]

He is the only one to take a fight with you, because Mayorga has a great chance at beating you. I actually want to know who is favored to win this fight since Mayorga's experience should come into play in this fight. J Chavez Jr wouldn't have a chance against Angulo.

I saw an interview with angulo in which he said that those nicotine stained face comments about Mayorga werent actually made by him. sounds like his promoters were trying to create hype.

Chavez Jr. wants none of Angulo for obvious reasons; nothing like his father.

Its funny to actually hear him speak because he has a really soft voice.

Would a loss to Mayorga hurt Angulo's career or no? A win for him would do wonders with his career since Mayorga has been in there with some of the best fighters.

discipline is the key to success, there are good fighters whom have become good due to their discipline to the sport. I've seen Abgulo's interviews and fighting, he seems to have both dedication and talent. If maintaining such ethics he will be one of the greatest boxer's in the sport in a very near future..

Oh it would hurt him for sure. Angulo has a ton of hype around him right now, if he were to lose to a guy like Mayorga at this point it would be terrible. Its probably not going to happen, though. Mayorga is a tough guy, but he is past his best years and has endured some pretty serious punishment, add to that Angulo is a pretty bad style matchup for him and....
I really like Angulo. I saw a lot of talent in him right off the bat, and he seems to have a great attitude towards being a fighter, a real throwback type. This fight is gonna be fireworks.

I thought Mayorga looked pretty good against Vargas, but then again was Vargas 100 percent that night? Didn't Vargas have to shed a ****-load of fat just to reach the weight.
