Ok here is some truth for you. Only one round seperates the two and thats what makes him number 2 pound for pound ahead of fighters like Hopkins, Joe C, Margarito, Paul Williams, Cotto and more. All info here is fact!!

Also add that he won the linear lightweight championship somthing PacMan never did and never will because he has said he will never fight at lightweight again.

The diffrence is nobody is trying to discredit Pacman and all of you are trying to discredit Marquez even though he's the only guy to push Pacman to the limit like no other fighter has in years.

He's Number 2 in the world for a reason and considering that even junior middleweights are getting Knocked out by Pacman Manny is the only name that Marquez needs on his resume to be great.

Take Marquez out of Pac's resume where would Pac be? Im sure he would still be P4P cause no one credits him with his win over Marquez anyways. So make like Marquez and Pac never fought. Pac would of still fought at 135 cause Marquez had nothing to do with him going after a title at 135 and Pac would of still fought Delahoya. Pac paved his own legacy without Marquez

Take Pac out of Marquez's resume, would Marquez be at 135lb today. NO. Would he be #2 on some peoples P4P list cause the only reason why people rank him so high is his close fights with Pac.

Use these two fighters where would one be without the other.

I think you have some great points to debate....I see what u are trying to say but again, using this logic Pacquaio would have never been at 135 either if legends like Morales and Barrera hadn't have given him shots.... He moved up to meet them at 130 and 126, respectively... Its just what happens in sports.. As far as Marquez rating, it has to do with his fights with Pacquaio just like Pacquiao got where he was by established guys giving shots... He lost to Morales the 1st time and got a rematch and then got a trilogy cause with a win apiece both wanted to prove whos greater... Pacquaio is a win and a draw with Marquez, lets go it again

I think everybody wanted a rematch of pac-marquez, even myself i wanted to see a trilogy... the only problem is that you cannot see the reason why it cant be made right now... Patience is virute, lets just wait and hope that it should happen...
