I think your misunderstanding. Marquez has been Pacman's only real challanger to this point. Im sure that in Fantasy land you can come up with all the unrealistic matchups you want but right now Marquez is the only person to say that he was and still is pacman's only major challanger at this point.

I think exactly the same, Pac is a freak of nature and that's why he could fight at any weight class between 135-147, no one else could do that. I think that JMM shouldn't go above 135.

Wouldn't you be after it non-stop for a few million or more? He's at the tail end of his career and what better way to go out than a fight with the guy who would make him the most $ by far, apart from maybe Hatton (but I don't think Marquez would go to 140 for Hatton. Not sure if he'll even go for Pac), and, if he wins, seal a huge legacy.

Nonetheless, I really, really hope Marquez doesn't fight at any weight above 135. Even lightweight is just a little bit too big for him. He doesn't have the body frame to move up to lightweight. He was small against Casamayor who himself is not a big lightweight. He has never been a big guy at any weight, even at FW where he started his career. He was just a normal size guy there and most definitely doesn't have the size to fight anyone big at 140. It's worrying even at 135 if he fights a big guy there. I think he would lose properly to Pac at any weight above above 135. I think we'll see how he handles the weight at 135 better against Diaz who is a big, strong guy at lightweight.

Ahh ok... I got your idea... "Only to this point"... I'm sorry...

I hope there is a possibility that he faces margarito and let see if he can really back up what he said...

Before when larry merchant expresses his idea regarding his thought of a pac-DLH everybody laugh at him...

I just dont get how people are saying Pacman is ducking JMM. For christ sake, Manny is saying he can take on Margarito ... Manny has no history of ducking anyone period.

Marquez will NEVER beat Pac because he can't manage to stay off his back when they fight! Marquez needs to fight Diaz and then the Nate/Funeka winner to unify the division. If he doesn't look to unify there will always be an asterisk next to him.

JMM deserves his 3rd chance on a big stage! Hes a great fighter but still hes not so known outside the boxing fans circle. Hope it happens.

I for one want to see a trilogy between the two. But i believed it will not happen until next year. Since JMM will be 35 or 36 by then, his way out of his prime and be shot. Would Pac still get the credit if he beats JMM or will it be another reason that a fighter lost cuz his shot. Which lead me to not want to happen cuz there Pac will not get the credit.

Forget Pacquiao for now, I know Marquez and his fan are obsessed like Glen Close in Fatal Attraction, but he need to worry about Juan Diaz. It won't be easy fight for him. I expect a UD for Diaz.
