Yeah I understand the sore loser part, but if I'm not mistaken those two really hated each other, which is what made their trilogy so great.

He threw a water bottle at Barrera, which hit his dad, after the third fight when Barrera went to shake hands.

It all started when Barrera was saying bad **** to Morales when Morales went to shake hands after the first fight.

Barrera tried to peace it up after the third fight and Morales was like "Chinga tu madre, the great Mexican rivalries will live forever" or something like that.

People who question the balls of Julio Cesar Chavez, Erik Morales, Miguel Cotto or Israel Vasquez would never get in the ring with them, even with a 60 pound weight advantage. They're all tough SOBs who gave it everything they had until they didn't have any more to give.
              Thank you...

People say that Morales quit on this fight, and Miguel Cotto quit against Margarito. Those dudes fought with every ounce of strength they had, and they didn't have enough to fight anymore in that. People say that they quit, which is complete bull****. They act like they should have gotten up, without a chance to win, until they were put to sleep.

That might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Hyperion translated it for me once...

                In boxing, rivalries last forever.

And then he added in **** your mother at the end, which is just soooo childish, and soooo tight at the same time.

I agree with that as well, I hate it when people (internet warriors) talk about how certain fighters are ***** because they "quit." It is 100% guaranteed that if any of these people were to step in the ring with any of these legends, they wouldn't last out the first round, much less last long enough for people to say they quit.

calm down ryan, i dont discredit erik, or cotto for that matter for basically giving in...

cotto to me is much more understandable, he was beaten, and badly, there was nothing he could of done, and i realize this... ive never talked down on cotto for giving up.

But when Morales wen tdown, he just sat there... and looked around... for getting paid MILLIONS of dollars... if you can get up.... get up.
