        Ortiz can take Hatton.
Throwing Ortiz to the big boys right now would be as foolish when they threw Vargas in with the heavy comp. Even if they have talent they need experience to make intelligent decisions at the different turning points in an elite bout.

Yoooo...Use you're ****in eyes towards a fight, not toward a piece of paper, or what trainer said what, use em toward a f$#%in fight. lol Hatton would get his head snapped back by Ortiz all night. Hatton's chin isn't that good, and that Mayweather loss really f$#%ed him up. Plus he was gettin rocked by Lazcano, before that it was Collazo.

lol Actin like Hatton is some elite fighter. Hatton at his best will brawl you for a good portion of a fight and he'll come out on top, but he tires late. So if you got some good punches come round 8 and beyond, lol you can pretty much KO Hatton.

And Hatton would have been perfect for Ortiz. Victor would have gotten alot of exposure for that fight.
style wise, Ortiz beats Hatton, but based on experience that may not be enough at this stage for him to beat Hatton.

Ortiz has tons of pop and a good straight punch that can stop hatton in his tracks. At this stage though, Hatton would win.

Right now Ortiz doesn't have the experiance to live with Holt and Torres, never mind Hatton.

In 2/3 years when he's ready Hattton will be retired.

I can't see how this Ortiz kid isn't going to be an absolute mega-star. He seems like a nice guy, he is a good-looking guy and he has talent to burn. Providing he can keep it all on the straight and narrow and his handlers move him along properly I can see him being the star of the sport in a few years.

Ortiz hasn't done enough yet to be in the ring with Hatton.
