yeah I agree, He has beat a lot of good world champions but is lacking truly elite fighters in his resume, I actually believe casa would have given him a lot of problems, and tszyu had a punchers chance. But at least he beat good competition at 130-135, I kind of let him off at 140 as he did beat hatton eventually even tho it was at 147 and I don't believe that changed the result. But as it stands his best wins are against a 34 year old oscar de la hoya and ricky hatton...doesn't quite match up to the atg'sCasamayor, Frietas at 130-135 etc. etc. Tszyu at 140 Mosley at 147 big names, these guys doesn't have the "size" advantage tha Cotto or Margarito arguably had, would have been good PPV fights (better than Baldomir definitely) not to mention very winnable fights for Floyd...didn't happen.Comment

Thats not a fact you don't know for sure, he may have priced himself out of them only the people involved would know. One of Floyd's problems is that he gives his reason for not fighting some fighters as that they are not a draw, but cotto, margarito have been around his weight and are and have been big draws for a while now. Anyway when roy jones was fighting it didn't matter who he fought he would make serious money, same with oscar, and ricky hatton now. Floyd isn't the huge draw he makes himself out to be, if he was he would fight the other champs at welter and make bank. But like I said he measures risk v reward, which is why historically he won't be remembered in the same breath as the very bestComment

Speaking literally or figuratively, which is what we do in internet message boards,
you don't even live up to your own ideals.
No wonder you're a Floyd stan.
"You'll get your shot"- Floyd to Margarito.Comment

Mayweather called out a lot of guys, just to make it appear that he's not ducking them. If there's a will there's a way, specially if there's big money to be had for both sides. I can even point you to articles that say Mayweather ducked Freitas.Comment
