i've been fortunate enough to have shared a couple of pints with Ricky, a couple of years ago. He's everything you'd expect, a true gent, as comfortable with you as an old friend would be, and above all, a very, very funny man.

i know he's not everybody's cup of tea, here on this forum, but as a man, he's first class. I'm very proud of him. Walking along, singing a song, walking in a hatton wonderland..

Is a SHOT ROY..still more dangerous then a SHOT DE LA?..in terms of not being former shells of themselves...but which former shell was still a better fighter. Roy was the P4P best fighter in the world..Even managed to drop Joe.

Oscar had so many advantages going into the fight... what advantages did Roy have against Joe. None.

Floyd fought at Oscars prefered weight, Floyd fought on the Mexican national holiday, Floyd fought with the Reyes gloves, the ones he usually breaks his hands with... You are a Floyd fanatical hater, if Floyd beat King King you'd still find a reason to critisize Floyd!

It's not really my nature to give credit to Mayweather or Oscar... but I personally thought that De La Hoya looked very much on top of his game against Floyd. No one has come closer to beating Floyd, except Castillo in their first fight. Oscar agaisnt Floyd was not the Oscar that we saw fight Trinidad... but he was the best Oscar he could be at this stage of his career. I don't want to discredit Pacman, because even at his best I think Pac would have won... but Oscar with May was not the Oscar that fought Pac.
