Yeah, because Calzaghe's US debut vs. Hopkins was almost a FOTY.

    What a ****** thread.

he is probably one of the smartest men in boxing when it comes to predictions

I kind of get the feeling that Calzaghe is the same for the U.K. Many U.K. fans adore him, but we've all seen that he has his fair share of critics in the U.K. as well.

Calzaghe has a pretty solid following in the U.S., so what I'd like to know is how much of a following Mayweather has in the U.K. Any Brits out there feel free to chime in.
as a boxer, he is a class act, a genius, i'd go as far to say. The most polished article since a prime RJJ. You should be proud.

as a man, hmmm, i think he needs to pull his socks up somewhat. The banter, i have no problem with, it's all part of the drama that is boxing, but the money throwing business. As we say in England, it's just not cricket, and i see no need, nor place for it.

Saying that, he is always respectful post fight, i applaud him for that.

As i said tho, a truly wonderful boxer.

then why did he offer to fight Pav, way before Pav was even a champion?

Really? When did Calzaghe beat Pavlik?

Hatton spanking the yanks? He must have missed the Mayweather fight.

His predictions are opinions, that you clowns slup up like it's the word of God.

I can't imagine you didn't let your wrist go limp when you said "Um excuse me".

So you are one of those really intelligent people who blame that entire fight on Hopkins? The Calzaghe slap & flail really did it for you did it?

You know what Mayweather did against De La Hoya that Calzaghe didn't do against Hopkins? Land a punch that did some damage.

                    Thanks for playing.

So far you have lauded Calzaghe for knowing that RJJ was shot before he took the fight and not getting involved in a verbal war.

Man, you nuthuggers find the dumbest **** to praise your fighter about.
