It's sort of like being a baseball fan and when your fav team gets to the second round of the playoffs you decide your not interested in watching anymore.. Why wouldn't you be? Of course if the entire starting rotation was injured you wouldn't want to but.. They're not.

Anyone from light heavy on down he'd be favorite against. He might even manage to come in as a favorite against Valuev for some people.

So your only worried what his detractors think. I feel like fans should be more concerned with enjoying what their fighter does.. FIGHT. In joes case throw a bunch of punches and frequently win by wide margins.

Born November 27, 1983. Turned 25 on Thanksgiving day. I don't think he should continue fighting because I think he has proven himself as the best SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT of his time. He has capped his career by winning in the Light Heavyweight division. And yes, I am a fanboy of Calzaghe. I can't think of a single professional fighter that I'm not a fan of for one reason or another. I'm open to others disagreeing and I have my opinions changed quite often by others who express a good point. However, attempting to make me out to be a young child by acting like one yourself is not very effective at all friend. I've never been one for heroes and Joe is definately not mine. If I had to choose one, it would probably be my mom. So feel free to post about her.

I think we both know your mom wouldn't waste her time with a washed up Roy Jones!

He should retire, he's too old to get any better and his hands too brittle to KO anyone. I don't like watching great fighters continue past their prime, it diminishes their status.
