Do you want Joe Calzaghe to continue fighting? POLL!

I'm just curious where fight fans stand on their feelings toward Calzaghe.
It looks like Calzaghe wants to retire but I don't really hear much demand from
his fans or detractors to return to the ring. This kinda wierd since there is
definitely a demand for Floyd to keep fighting. So do people want him to comeback?
or stay retired and why? IMO fans should want to see him continue since he
is still in excellent condition and hasn't taken any major punishment.

I only ask cause I'm a Pacquiao fan and I know that I as well as many other fans would be pulling for him to return if he discussed retiring. I'm not really hearing a proper uproar for Cal.

Nathan voted he's a fan and he doesn't want to see him fight again.. Nathan why wouldn't you want to see a fav fighter of yours fight again?

Because Nathan is a 12 year old fanboy and sits up at night praying that his great hero Joe won't ever lose. In this way, Nathan is able to cling to his delusional belief that Joe Calzaghe is indeed the best fighter of his generation.

One thing is for sure... you can NEVER leave the sport with nothing left to prove. As long as their is a fresh crop of young blood... there will always be something left to prove, and someone you need to prove yourself against.

What we should be asking is, has that fighter proven himself as the best during his time? To me, Joe has. There are fights out there... Dawson, Taylor, Kessler II (makes much more sense than Hopkins II), Glen Johnson, even Tarver.

But when I ask myself, has Joe proven himself to be the best during his time? I say yes... many times over and he should retire.

But don't you enjoy seeing your fighter fight? He's not showing any signs of aging.. There are a lot of other big names out there. Isn't the point of having a favorite fighter to watch him fight? Of course he shouldn't if he's getting closer to the likes of Holyfield or Ali toward the end but.. Calzaghe just recently peaked IMO.
