    HBO suck.

Why not Taylor vs Froch/Kessler/Bute? they are the champions and best fighters.

Fight of the Year, without even a shadow of a doubt.
I agree with this. I think Bika is considerably underrated. Plus it'd be a helluva war.

Other than that Bute would be good next. I can actually see where Carl's coming from in wanting to crack on with the top guys, it's admirable. But he's doing a bit of a Haye tbh, he'll very likely come away with a loss facing 2 of the 3 he's mentioned. In a year or two he'll stand a better chance, Kessler still beats him though, and quite possibly Taylor even then.

Why do they not want this fight, yet find Dawson-Tarver II acceptable?

Kessler vs. Froch would be big in the UK and Europe, but Froch would lose his title for certain. Froch vs. Bute would be close and competitive.
I'd love to see Froch with any of the aforementioned Super Middleweights.

I agree with you, but I think he's doing the only thing he can to line up big fights - opening his mouth.

I think Kessler and Taylor both beat him, and Bute might as well as long as he plays it safe and boxes him from arm's length, being careful not to get tired like he did in the Andrade fight.

I can't recall one solid instance in the Pascal fight where Froch put his hands up to protect his face; instead he chose to try to actively fight Pascal off while taking big shots himself. Fun to watch, but will get him into deep waters against more experienced fighters.

Yeah, I mean Haye gets away with it as he has immense speed for his size, and can move out of the way of some punches at least. But Froch doesn't quite possess that so much. I increasingly see similarities between these two which isn't good. I mean he has quite a wide stance so could easily practice moving back and around more, but he doesn't seem to bother much. So with nothing masking that up, he will be jabbed and picked apart by top technical jabbers like these guys. Even if forced to change mid fight he'll be behind and still not used to having to try different things to defend himself.

Kessler and Taylor have pretty good chins and power themselves, and are much better technically, as well as on the speed front. Bute too somewhat, I spose Froch could bash him up late like Andrade did which he does sometimes anyway.

You gotta love Froch's attitude; he just wants to fight the best.

I think the Taylor - Froch fight would be a war and its a shame that it looks like we might not see it.

Froch's disregard for defence means that any fight he is in will be entertaining so I look forward to his next fight. If not Taylor a fight against Bute, Inkin or Kessler to unify would be great. I'd give him a good chance against all of them by the way, but would favour Kessler and see a fight with Bute as an even fight.

I gotta give it to Froch it seems like he only wants to fight the best and prove himself. gotta respect that about him and a fight with either Kessler or Taylor would be a good'en to watch.

I would like to see a tournament in the super middleweight division like the one made in 2001 in the MW division.

I don't understand these big time player networks like HBO and Showtime. Why would you not want to pick up a competitive title fight like froch vs taylor, but you can basically disgrace the sport of boxing and stab the fans in the back by letting pacqiaou and de la hoya square off. The price tag on that ppv was ridiculous and the fight card overall was pathetic and embarrassing. These networks and crooked promoters need to wise up lower the purse bids so that they can stack the undercards with new exciting upcoming talent, then maybe fight fans wont think boxing is such a joke. Send all the old and weathered fighters to Don King Promotions to fight on some ppv card in asia, iraq, or some other meaningless place to fight for f!ck all. Dissolve the IBO IBF WBA WBO WBC and have just an interim-title and world championship title, enough with the confusion, why the hell should there be more then one champion and one #1 contender, nothing makes sense. I hate saying this but if boxing wants to be back on top of the fighting world, boxing needs to open it's eyes and take a look at what the UFC has been doing for the last three years, that formula seems to be working fine. As a fight fan The Sweet Science is top priority, but goddam people need to give there heads a shake, wake up, fix this sport, bring Boxing back to the glory days when Boxing was the well oiled-machine that kept on rolling, and had the whole world locked in to watch the legends of the past square off for those few hours on a Saturday night. I am a fight fan, my thoughts going into 2009 are this: Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures, old wounds take time to heal, I understand that, but if you keep making the same mistakes, those wounds become worse and the healing process becomes even more of a challenge.
