A lot of DeGale hate already before he's even thrown a punch as a pro. The kids talented, the MW division at the oympics was one of the deepest and i doubt an overrated fighter would have took the gold the way he did. Ive been hearing DeGale is actually a seriously big puncher, Steve Bunce mensioned it anyway.
Lets not over hate and over hype this kid like we done Khan.

Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale has lashed out at countrymen Joe Calzaghe and David Haye, vowing to make both fighters eat their words. Haye and Calzaghe questioned DeGale's ability to make a big impact as a pro. The 23-year-old middleweight won gold at the 2008 Beijing games. He recently signed a two-year deal with promoter Frank Warren worth £1.5 million. [details]
This kid should just keep quiet. If he proves them wrong then he proves them wrong. He doesn't need to set himself up for a fall.
And I heard what Haye said about him. And Haye's absolutlety right. All he said was that Degale's got an amateur style which is very true. And for that reason Haye's not sure whether Degale will make a quality pro. Degale should realise that what Haye said is true and he should work on honing his style to suit the pro's. There's no need to get angry.

I really dont get the ammount of hate thats thrown at up and coming fighters on here. You would think people would get behind potentially great boxers rather than ****ting all over them.
