My thoughts on DLH are that I never like him. I feel as though DLH got a lot of hype that was not deserved and got a lot of controversial wins that he didn't deserve. I respect the fact that he did take the best fights possible.
Even though I didn't like him DLH was a above average fighter. I don't think DLH is a ATG.

Anyway, good post. The interesting thing about the true ATG's is that in many instances, they rach accomplished most of the things you listed.

No 3 is how I try and fit in the intangables that seperate the great from the truely great, people like Ali, Ayton Senna, Pele, Micheal Jorden, Babe Ruth, Johnny Unitas, Lance Armstrong they transend the sport they are in, they are no greater on paper than other people in the sport but they had something special.
