This is a better fight than Taylor-vs-Wright. It's the old guard vs the new guard. Let's see if Winky can do to Taylor what Bernard did to Pavlik. I think that unlikely, but it's still an intriging clash.

Bottom line is Paul Williams is an extraordinary fighter with great physical attributes, and this time next year he should be in the top 5 of the P4P rankings.

my fingers are crossed. I really don't care to see this fight. There are plenty of other fighters out there(like forrest) that I would rather see in the ring against Williams.

"Zero" chance? Ring has Forrest #1 and Williams #2 at 154. That tells me that there is a very good chance of this fight happening unless Forrest loses in the next couple of months. Williams' goal has always been to be the top fighter at whatever weight class that he is in and if anyone doesn't think he is top fighter at any weight class, he does his very best to prove otherwise. And in this case, Ring doesn't think he is tops at 154.

I expect this fight to happen by the end of this year.

he says he wants to fight...says he wants big names....if he takes the current deal he'll be making more $ than mosley in the margarito fight.

#1) Williams and Forrest are both managed by Al Haymon. I can't ever recall two of his fighters being matched against each other.

#2) Forrest has said he is only looking for big fights. This fight doesn't even draw a crowd in their home state of Georgia.

#3) Forrest refuses to fight southpaws. That's why he is flagrantly ducking his mandatory challenger, Sergio Martinez.

#4) In the real boxing world, Ring Magazine ratings mean absolutely nothing.
