Pavlik is a MW, and he should stay there.

All have natural talent, it's hard to be a hypejob without natural talent.

All have been put on a pedastal that could potentially kill their careers, Dawson has at least fought more than one decent fighter and to be fair his division is empty of anything remotely good (retiree's and 40 year old not withstanding) so he should be ok.

Bradley Has fought 1 top 10 LWW
Otriz has fought no top 10 LWW's
Burto wasn't even touched anyone top 20.

Yet two of them hold a belt... These kids could be exposed in any fight not because they aren't good but because they haven't fought the guys just under title level yet so it's impossible to tell if their skills/power etc will carry that extra class level.

I hope that all three come through their next fights and become proven champions, but i fear at least one if not two will not.
I agree Witter was a bum.

A loss to Hopkins is a credit to anyone,he went the distance outside his weight. Now he can hit the gym and work on improving his technical skills and dominating his div.!!

I think Pavlik has earned the praise that he's received. He beat the hell out of Edison Miranda, KO'd then Decisioned Taylor. I admit, I've not seen much other than highlights of Pavlik's previous fights, but he's got the makings of a superstar boxer, and he's earned the recognition.
He beat the best MW in the world twice. Obviously he's a hype job. Just like Taylor was. Actually Hopkins was too. Actually, when you think about it so was Hagler. Leonard was obviously overrated. The whole division is overrated really. The sport is nothing but hype.

******ed. Pavlik is a great fighter. Hopkins fought an incredible fight. Give both men their due.

At this point, i think we need to judge kelly on how he comes back... Hes still young, has alot of gas in the tank, maybe it was better to lose now to a guy like hopkins, he might turn out a better fighter in the long run because of it...

                  WAR PAVLIK!

It's more of the way he lost, he didn't lose in a close battle. He lost every single round, atleast on my score-card against Hopkins. Even if Hopkins style was bad for pavlik, that is no way to lose to anyone. That loss was probably worse then what Calzaghe did to Lacy.

And that fight showed alot of Kelly Pavlik's weaknesses, and actually shows a great blueprint for a fighter like abraham. Kelly had next to no head movements.
