I doubt Shane will KO Margarito, but I wouldn't be surprised if he stunned him. Mayorga was 10lbs more than Shane, and he was at least able to pull off that KO victory, even if Mayorga is old as hell.

Why do I get the feeling that Shane would box the ears out of MARG en route to a Unanimous Decision and possibly stopping him in the late rounds?

I mean my senses tell me Marg is the safest pick considering his very IMPRESSIVE win over COTTO but something tells me SHANE would take this one....

Well Shane is slicker than COTTO and he has the HEART to do it...and of course he also has the CHIN to trade bombs with MARG with rate of 3:2 in favor of SHANE because of his SPEED (althought in recent fights it has relatively slowed down).

Also MARG is not a ONE-PUNCH kNOCKOUT ARTIST(please correct me if im wrong)He is more of a WEAR YOU DOWN TYPE OF FIGHTER (like PAC in recent memories)so much so that "A GIVE ME ILL TAKE IT" type of FIGHT is possible in the middle rounds.Well both of them has the CHIN (Shane's CHIN is DEFINITELY UNDERATED and MARG'S CHIN for me, pardon me, is VERYVERY OVERATED considering he fought peple in his OWN WEIGHT CLASS ONLYmost of which he dwarfed or is much more smaller than him) to survive an onslaught like that BUT my point is SHANE can deliver MORE BOMBS in the same span of time...

Margarito has fought cintron and williams two of the harder hitting ww's probably the top two hitting ww how are both as big or bigger than margarito and williams is now knocking out 160 pounders and 154 pounders but yet never even fazed margarito. I think marg destroys and breaks down mosley body shot by body shot! Shane is going to lose and this is merely a little tougher than average tune up bout for margarito en route to a cotto rematch. Anyone that doesn't look spetacular against mayorga especially post tito, dlh, and vargas should just retire.
