SHANE vs. MARG your thoughts...

Why do I get the feeling that Shane would box the ears out of MARG en route to a Unanimous Decision and possibly stopping him in the late rounds?

I mean my senses tell me Marg is the safest pick considering his very IMPRESSIVE win over COTTO but something tells me SHANE would take this one....

Well Shane is slicker than COTTO and he has the HEART to do it...and of course he also has the CHIN to trade bombs with MARG with rate of 3:2 in favor of SHANE because of his SPEED (althought in recent fights it has relatively slowed down).

Also MARG is not a ONE-PUNCH kNOCKOUT ARTIST(please correct me if im wrong)He is more of a WEAR YOU DOWN TYPE OF FIGHTER (like PAC in recent memories)so much so that "A GIVE ME ILL TAKE IT" type of FIGHT is possible in the middle rounds.Well both of them has the CHIN (Shane's CHIN is DEFINITELY UNDERATED and MARG'S CHIN for me, pardon me, is VERYVERY OVERATED considering he fought peple in his OWN WEIGHT CLASS ONLYmost of which he dwarfed or is much more smaller than him) to survive an onslaught like that BUT my point is SHANE can deliver MORE BOMBS in the same span of time...

PLUS SHANE NEVER NEVER CRACKS under pressure..HE is COOL and COMPOSED...not much of a big FAN of SHANE but im a FAN of his (also of MARG too)...

what do you think about this fight (PLEASE LEAVE ALL biases BEHIND of BEING MEXICAN OR AMERICAN etc and lets asses this fight based on the fighters abilities and tendencies

Gotta go with Shane. He's one of my favorites. Let all hope he doesn't get into a middle of the ring brawl with Marg that would not be a good thing, but i'm sure he"ll try it at one time in the fight. If he could just use some speed and counter punches then run around a little maybe do some clinching he might just pull it off.

SSM will try to outbox Marg, but he's a warrior. When Marg starts really tearin into him, SSM will forget about boxin and start sluggin it out, which will be his downfall. Marg will outwork him and likely stop him late.

A fight like this not on ppv,cmon easily worthy of watching!!Margarito in the end is too big,most people dont realize this,but Margo punches from every angle,thats very impressive,its a great skill that does not get credit,think about it!!

Margarito is suppose to win, but so was DLH and Pavlik. There are different circumstances around this time, but anything is possible. Margarito might underestimate Shane, and allow Sugar to take control all through the fight. I just know I am rooting for the Sugar man as always .

Maybe that the same reason why I have the feeling SHANE would take this..CONTRARY to popular opinion....I think when that time comes that SHANE would TRADE punches with MARG in the mid rounds (which i believe will definetely happen) and leave counter punching behind thats the point of the fight where SHANE would benefit the MOST. Reason HANDSPEED...

If MAYORGA's CHIN (which is a world class CHIN BTW) was cracked by SHANE, I dont see any reason why MARG's CHIN is not a n impossible task..

I don't think Shane will stop Margo, Mayorga walked thru Shanes punches the majority of the fight and im sure Margo can take Shanes. Marg will wear Shane down because he will make him defend, counter, and move consistantly. Shane seems to fight in spurts. If Marg starts going to the body early he will stop Shane in 9th or 10th.

I also like MARG..he is a TOTAL ACTION FIGHTER which I like watchin the most but I just think Shane has the tools to beat MARG...

Mayorga's chin WAS world class, about 6 years ago.

Based on Shane's performance against Mayo, he's in deep, deep, deep, deep escrement. We might see Shane get stopped for the first time.

actually this is the FACET of the fight why I would go in favor of MARG...BODY PUNCHES...if he manages to sneak in a couple of HARD BODY punches to SHANE...he might slow down faster than we can think of because of his age...

I like both fighters and i think they will give us one hell of a fight but you see i just have the inkling Shane has more than enough to beat MARGO..
