pac is way more skilled than hatton imo. ricky's only chance is if he corners pac or make it an inside-fight so that pac can't use his speed advantage

Hatton was getting hit with lead rights by Floyd. Now people can debate whos faster Floyd or Pac but the bottom line is their both fast. The pot shots and lead rights is what slowed Hatton down in the mid rounds. Floyd capitalized on this and threw combos. Pac will throw combos from the opening bell followed by his signature left. Im sure Roach will focus on Hattons fight with Floyd.

Take away Hattons inside game and what do you have. Hatton doesnt box on the outside and doesnt counter either. Roach will come up with the perfect game plan on this one. Pac has been known for his speed, power, lateral movements, footwork, and head movement. He also sticks with the game plan and shares a deep relationship with Roach which always makes a fighter GREAT.

I think thats a bull****-theory. Im not shure if Pac hits harder than Mayweather at 140. What i know is that Mayweather was overall even better than Pacman. Better skill and better defence.
I still pick Pac to win though. It would be great if he could stop Hatton.

I'm still smiling over that. I think Roach is right about Hatton being dangerous. However, if they didn't think they will win, they would not be taking the fight.

I'm taking Hatton by mid-late TKO. The Oscar fight was a mirage that greatly raised Manny's stock, but I think it is a little off point considering the way Oscar fought. He was a welterweight version of Sam Peter and Manny played Vitali. Oscar was a shell of the guy who faced Mosley, Vargas, Mayorga and even Mayweather.

Yea, that was also said of Floyd & Mallignaggi and Hatton was able to control them both at one point or another. This fight is allot closer than you think. Pac is about the same size as Ricky and coming up in weight, his punch resistence will not be as great as it was at lightweight. Hatton WILL land and it WILL do damage. I'm not saying he will definitely win, but you are foolish to call the lineal light welterweight champ a bum and give him no chance in this fight.
