in the oscar fight he needed to make oscar look bad to promote the fight.

in the hatton match he needs to sell it as a super dangerous , super risky fight for manny.

      Hatton - Cotto

First of all...Just as Freddie Roach perfectly envisioned how easy it would be with DLH is now saying it 'WILL NOT' be easy with Hatton when him and Pac square off. This is very accurate. Dont forget...it's all about styles.
Saying that...i feel Cotto vs Hatton is the best matchup in that general weight class. I like both fighters but i would pick Cotto (not easily) . reason is he does what Hatton does with body work but advantage is hes a better boxer and just as strong.Possibly more. Just an opinion. BTW....Floyds unbeatable at this stage unless someone intentionally hits him low a few times and opens 2-3 cuts which is always possible. Dirty fighting but a young Duran would have taken this path to attempt victory with Floyd. Kong... Out

COTTO VS PACQUAIO is really just as good a matchup as Hatton - Cotto i mentioned. Now that fight, i have no pick. could go either way other than Cotto having weight advantage with maybe more power. One thing i dont agree with is Cotto fighting Margarito again as the moneys not as good as all the other matchups given the high risk. That guys just too awkward and big. As anyones manager it's not smart to throw anyone in there seeing hes not a household name. Steer clear of him i say. Even Floyd would rather not fight him. No fighter wants to fight that style unless its a mega fight. totally different.

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

Not only should Pacquiao be concerned with Hatton's vicious body punching, but with Hatton's footwork as well.

Hatton is super-fast on his feet, which people aren't realizing. If he was able to get on the inside consistently against someone like Mayweather, there's no doubt he will be able to make his way to the inside against Pacquiao.

          Quote me. Upset of 2009.

Freddie was right. Hatton is dangerous to the body and he likes going for the body. With Pacman speed and footwork, Freddie doesnt need to think too hard how to come up with a game plan for the fight. Pacman will keep his distance, weave in and out and start throwing 3 to 5 combination punch.
Pacman will make Hatton play like CATCH ME IF YOU CAN with his footwork
and lateral movement. If this fight goes beyond 9th rounds, Pacman will emerge victorious, i dont think Hatton has the stamina like Pacman to last to 12th rounds.

            Pacman will win by decision....

I am not buying that. Malignaggi wasn't even a serious threat to Hatton. He had no punching power(which was evidenced by his so few knockouts) and all Hatton had to do was just walk through anything Malignaggi had to offer until he knocked him out. He couldn'twalk through Mayweather's power and he won't walk through Pac Man's punches.

Good sign that they're takin Hatton seriously. Pac's got mad shine after the DLH win but that don't mean Hatton will be easy. I think Pac takes him but it'll be war.

obviously cotto's looking for more than money. who are you to tell a man he has no reason to even try to avenge the only L on his record? that's what true champions do.

I think Hatton will be a handful for Pac in the early goings, but I'm going for Pac to KO him before 10.
