When was the last time you heard Oscar, DiBella, Arum, King, etc open their mouths & talk **** about MMA? None that I can think unless it was an provoked interview. That's because they don't give 2 ****s about men dry humping and don't acknowledge it.
Ha, ha, ha, ha!! It's true though 100% "Dry Humping" and he is definitely trying to capitalize off of this whole "Boxing is dead" B.S.

Why does a boxing fan even care what this guy has to say about boxing? Why is this thread even here? Let the MMA heads worry about what Dana White has to say and fret over it and discuss it on some lame MMA board. Let them argue about which sport is better. Us paying attention to this nonsense is like a guy w/a Ferrari listening to a guy with a souped up Honda Civic talkin' about that his ride is just as good as any ol' Ferrari and he could take him off the line and blah, blah ,blah...

Dana White is right, that is why we should care. Every ****ing word he said was correct. I'll always be a boxing guy, and I'll always cheer for our sport, but what he said is the plain truth.

Dana White is an A** Clown. Why does he care about Boxing or how its run? Boxing is NOT DEAD OR DYING so that 2-bit hack should keep his mouth shut and worry about his own product!

That was all in one card on PPV, after the Ali act passed most of Don Kings contracts became illegal. He would only let you fight for a title if you signed with his promotion, if you kept winning you couldn't leave DKP. Guess which MMA company does the same thing now??

Here is the UFC contract fighters must sign.

Here is the UFC doing everything they can to not have to obey the Ali act.

Don't buy into the bull**** Dana White is selling.
Quality stuff here, much appreciated. I have been following these developments for a brief amount of time and became heavily interested in Dana White's statements after Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture began criticizing him. This information should be repeated all over the place and should be explained to those pursuing careers in either sport. There is no other sport on the face of the earth I would rather watch than Boxing, and I have much respect for the growing sport of MMA, however the exploitive techniques implemented by the powers that be in each respective sport, are a disgrace. Dana White seems to be the newest ******* to come along and cash in from hard work of others. In this case the MMA fighters currently under conrtract with UFC. A true American buisnessman if you ask me, just like Don King, Gary Shaw, Bob Arum, De la Hoya, George Bush, **** Cheney etc. . We will see h ow far this goes as far as UFC's bull**** contracts are concerned, I imagine there will be some form of regulation that will dramaticallty change the game, but hell if they have enough money to pay a lobbying firm to help promote their carnage than there might not be any change in how they run buisness. These are some basic questions that MMA will have to face in the future, something that Boxing has been facing for well over a century. The attention of fight fans is slowly moving in the vicinity of White, and those like Tito Ortiz and Couture are the reason for this. Unfortunately I doubt that too many fringe fans are going to give a **** and will continue to stroke this savy *******, buying the PPV's without batting an eye, helping to generate more money for the UFC that very few fighters will get a fair share of. What a joke!

I dislike Dana the White Don King but as far as PPV undercards he's right. The last ones have been horrible. Now with the Pavlik/Cotto ppv the bad mismatches have made there way up to the main event. Dana White is still a dumbass though, last saturdays ppv was solid but the ones before that I wouldnt of watched on youtube. Furthermore it takes alot more money to put up a good boxing undercard than a mma one. Once mma fighters start getting paid what they deserve will see if this ******* is so quick to open his mouth.

I heard Dana White lost $50K betting on Juan Manuel Marquez against Manny Pacquiao this past March! That's $50K that should've gone toward his fighters that he instead pocketed. He underpays his fighters so badly it's pathetic and borderline criminal. If he thinks he knows boxing, let him become a boxing promoter and compete with the rest. He's just jealous and resentful that GBP is venturing into MMA.

Dana White is 100% dead on. He has let boxing kill itself. Boxing is not a sport especially a FIGHTING sport. It is a SHOW like wrestling. Oscar made like $100 million and what did he do to help boxing? He made HBO more money. Dana White rewards people who try and fight harder; gives them bonuses. He DOUBLES your money if you win and usually triples it if you have an exiting fight or a KO. Boxing promoters try and steal your money back. I've dealt with both and speak from experience. Look at the fans at UFC fights. I show all the fights in my bar. I lose money at ALL boxing events except 1 this year. I made money and had to turn people away at MMA events. Dana White could do what he wants with his own money. Him and his partners invested over $50 million dollars to make UFC successful and created fighters that were NOTHING and NOBODY'S before UFC. They should beg him and thank him incessantly for what he did for them. I am a PURE boxing fan but have seen the UFC grow and boxing die and am disgusted at what 95% of boxing became. 100,000 people used to watch a heavyweight fight and now I can't get 100 of them in a bar to watch. Boxing fans should embrace MMA, learn from it and beg their fans to give them another chance. Cuz we ain gona be having this conversation in 10 years. I wish Dana White would get into the boxing game. He would rule it.
