I'm around 14.5 stone, around 205lb now I've stopped weightlifting. I used to be 16 stone (225ish) when I was into the weights. 186cm tall.

    The guy filming is 6'4.
Cool, weren't hating on you, just a few jokey comments on your opponent tis all. He did look like Billy Dib right there, running away from you.

If anything you looked orthodox but it's difficult to tell. In a ring against a more normal sparring partner, film that and folk could then judge better.

No disrespect intended Fulcrum. I have nothing against Russians at all, the Specnaz or your leader. Gelayev isn't a hero of mine, though I do respect his warrior mentality and the values he stood for. The Russians nicknamed him the 'Black Angel' and even had respect for him because he didn't flout war rules like Basayev or Arbi Barayev (Beslan, Moscow etc)

The problem with where we were sparring is that the room is full of objects, quite wide but very narrow so it's easy to bump into things.

I have some other sparring videos somewhere and you can then get a proper perspective of our respective sizes and it's in a much nicer environment too (a proper boxing ring).
yea that makes sense then why both of you looked so tiny if the camera man is a giant 6'4 or however. and yea i noticed you almost rammed your head into the wall but hey thas how real men spar ;-)

i thought u showed good countering skills..especially once when he lunged in you rocked him hard with a left hook i think it was and whenever you used the jab it seemed to work you just gotta jab more and with more authority cus it really seemed to give him trouble. as for your opponent tell him to stop reaching his left hand out like that and put it properly to the side of his face cus you were easily rocking him with lead right hands over his outstretched hand and he didn't seem to even see it coming.

Indeed, there was often little honor in the conflict in the Caucusus; from either side.

However, just because you support one side and I another does not mean we cannot respect one another.

I feel more comfortable in the Southpaw stance but have considerably less power in my left than my right. Infact if I hit my friend with the right I could probably have knocked him down even with the head gear on but it's difficult to set up shots with the left jab and I'm very vulnerable.

PS: I know I'm not that good. So give me some tips as well. Some praise would be appreciated too (you know, for the sake of my ego )

I think what we're all trying to say is work on form more. As far as your stance, do what is more comfortable for you.

                      Raise your hands

as for your power in the left, i thought it was still good because at 20 seconds into the clip you really rocked the other guy with a left. you just need to sit down more on your punches, keep your hands up and not switch stance so much. Someone will be able to time that and really hit you in the chops.

You have a quite wide shoulders and your legs look solid too so power is not a concern but your stance is **** and all over the place and your hands need to be higher. someone will drop you hard
