I seen a lot of nice ko's but honestly just like ive seen in the past the fights ended very quickly. Their was a lack of drama that I see in boxing because one punch a fighter was down and out. Did you guys find it exciting? Maybe I am just so blind to MMA and dont understand but I really didn't like it. It's not my cup of tea, atleast not yesterdays card. MMA watchers were you let down or is this to be expected?
I did enjoy it allot. Didn't you love the way Wanderlei was OWNED and KTFO cold and was out? Or the way Griffin was out cold and still smiling? Or the way Nogueira was KD 3 times for a stoppage? I think that was an excellent MMA show and it really showed who the best were. MMA is not a marathon, it's a fking sprint race! That's why it's so exciting. I bought it and am proud of supporting such individuals. People who care for truth in sports deserve to be supported. Crooked ass managers, promoters, networks and organizations ARE NOT.

Thats a better post. It seems like you really love the knockouts though and not the beauty of the sport. Boxing fans have always enjoyed sweet science. Its the casual fans that really got into boxing because of tyson. Tyson went in there and ripped guys heads off and thats what casual fans enjoy about boxing. I feel a lot of the new MMA fans do only follow the sport strictly because of the quick kos. Not saying if its a bad or good thing just the impression I get.

Well thats why MMA is the sport of fighting. Always could end with one punch....believe me thats why MMA is as big as it is now and its also why people watch entire MMA cards as opposed to boxing in general. What I mean is just about anytime I have been to a party where they order a big boxing PPV, nobody pays attention at all until the main card. To the average joe not nothing anything a MMA fight is much more appealing

kudos. I like boxing too but just not the corruption. i cant make myself support the likes of Oscar de La Hoya, Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins or Roy Jones, the last two because they wanna keep fighting ie milking the sport until they DIE?! I just can't. These people and their managers, associated press, promoters, are all in for the money, they don't care about boxing. Listen to what dana white had to say about this boxing guy to tried to fix fights in mma (not ufc, another org who now filled for bankruptcy) the video is on youtube. I will boycott boxing until i see some consistent good balanced fights. The problem in boxing is just too fat, something bad it's coming his way and he is just too fat to move.

The best part of the night was when Frank Mir was asked about a rematch with Lesnar, and although Frank already beat him, he said that a rematch was inevitable because he doesnt wanna be considered a "half a champ". He wants to be known as "the champ". That right there shows that in mma, fighters care more about being recognized as the best, more than there are about the business side of the sport. Had that same question been asked to a boxer, his reply would've sounded something like this: "well im gonna go back home and think things over with my family and team, and figure out what's the best option for me" Translation = We'll see who we can make the most money fighting against.

Thats my biggest problem with boxing. People rip the UFC but have to realize they are taking all the many holes boxing has and fixed them with MMA.

Its a ****ing joke the amount of weight classes and titles boxing has...with MMA its great....6 main divisions, easy to follow.

                  145, 155, 170, 185, 205, 265

Boxing = WWE like show where promoters hand pick fights and you have 43 year olds fighting in main events because of a tittle a magazine they own gave them. Enough said i think. Shawn Micheals always wins, right? Not in MMA.
How does Boxing = WWE? WWE is scripted TV Show with actors. Use your brain for once.

If MMA has a ton of quick KO's of fighters just getting caught does it really mean the guy that threw that one punch is honestly better.
Not really. If most your wins come from KO's, then you're a KO Artist. If your wins are more spread between KOs, Subs and the Judges, you're a more well rounded fighter.

They usually play preview shows before the PPV and you got fight specials on $pike. They also do previews on Youtube as well.
