no i'm not offended nor will i try to counter your argument with insults. I wanted to get your logic as to why you thought what you thought. thats all. but i cant rebut an opinion without understanding why or how you formed that opinion. I definitely disagree though. watch the dlh vs pac fight, then take note of how pacq starts, and finishes his combos. notice where his gloves are. wide open for counters up and downstairs all night long. pacq has no chance against a master boxer like pbf, it will be exciting due to pacq forcing him to fight but it will be only as competitive as pbf wants it to be. there is my logical explanation of why pbf will beat pacq decisively.
Why should the boxing world bend over for Floyd?

such a cop out, how is floyd meant for the 147 division when he started at 130??He goes into retirement after TKOing a guy that clearly was never meant for the 147lbs division in Hatton. It was clear as day after Callazo nearly had him out. He was smart and returned back down, only to go back up for the paycheck with Floyd. Now Floyd thinks he has the upperhand and that we REALLY need him back. Exactly why? Is it just because his mouth is more entertaining than his fights? I don't see how a man can go into retirement, avoid all the challenges at his weight this way, see how things play out, and then come back when he can find the least dangerous route but biggest pay. I mean, how are ATGs defied this way? They shouldn't be, and this is why boxing is so wrong. It needs to be played along a definite ranking system that means, if you beat boxer C, then B, then you face A. And in that order with no way of skipping or jumping inbetween. That's why it loses so many casual fans because they only tune in to these supermatches.
ricky has been at 140 all his adult fighting life, moving up one weight class shouldnt be an excuse for performing poorly against a man who has moved up 5Comment

It shouldnt,we have people like Paul Williams dying to fight the elite, people like Margarito actually beating the elite, and people like Mosley, old but still ready to fight the elite, why should we waste time being a dodger fan!!??The welterweight got plenty of action without dodgers, dont bow enjoy!!Comment

It's sad but Boxing is more business than sport. That being said PBF is just looking for the biggest payday with the least amount of risk. Seriously, if Margo disposes of SSM and then Cotto again in exciting fashion you honestly think it wouldn't be as big as Pac-PBF come say next Dec. Margo vs Cotto-450kPPV,JMM-Pac-400KPPV, Pac-Diaz only did 200KPPV so let's be honest it was DLH driving the fight w/ Pac. If Pac was a real player in the 147lb class then why wouldn't Roach let him fight Margo? Cuz Pac is not a real 147lb fighter. PBF says he's the best 147lb fighter but he has not taken on 1 top 147lb so how could that be? PBF is just looking for a payday if he wanted to lay his claim to the real 147 thrown then he'd fight Margo but he won't face because he is a bigger risk. Just the way it is. Now if Pac beats Hatton then PBF should fight Pac at 40 because Hatton is the real champ at 40. If made at 47 it offers nothing because PBF has not taken on 1 raked 47lb fighter so why should Pac fight PBF at 47? I t should be at 40.Comment

Okay, here's my logic. There is way too much emphasis being brought up on boxers past achievements, this and that, etc, etc. As a fan of boxing, I go by what I see happening in the present. This may not be the way others view how a fighter will perform in the future but I see it as a precursor for events to come. Obviously, this sport can be unpredictable. That is a given. The ODLH fight is a prime example of this. Did you even think that fight would be such a "lop-sided" victory for the Pacman? People have written off the Pacman as a soon-to-be-beaten fighter against ODLH.no i'm not offended nor will i try to counter your argument with insults. I wanted to get your logic as to why you thought what you thought. thats all. but i cant rebut an opinion without understanding why or how you formed that opinion. Now when you say that Mayweather will beat the Pacman decisively, how do you base that assumption? By Floyd's past? I don't think his past achievements will stand up to the Pacman of the present. I firmly believe Pacquiao will be like Calzaghe was to Jones. Yes, the "Aggressive and Fierce" style of the Pacman will prevail over the "Slick and Safety-first" style of Mayweather. It's just a matter of time when this will become reality. JAT

why does margie get the pbf shot instead of pw. he lost to pw and destroyed cotto. but doesnt pw have just as good a right to pbf sweepstakes than margie? It's sad but Boxing is more business than sport. I'm basing my assumptions on pacq's latest performance. he is open to be countered by a master counterpuncher. the power rating that most of the pacq fans seem to be glorifying was during the past reigns in the lower divisions. Presently I see pacq is too open to defeat the better fighter past and present PBF! We will see if he gets past the british grappler. i understand the underdog angle your taking but come on, PBF is a couple of classes above dlh and pacq but anything could happen.Okay, here's my logic. Your points are well taken. Maybe the Pacman is too open for a "Master Counterpuncher" but do you honestly believe that the Pacman cannot adjust, elevate his "game plan" if you will to thwart Mayweather? Here's an example: Cristian Mijares was supposedly more talented and was EXPECTED to defeat Vic Darchinyan. What happened in that fight? So you can clearly see that anything can happen in boxing no matter how "good or excellent" you are skill wise.
