Let me answer your questions by 1st making it clear that I LOVE PBF the fighter, it goes no further than that.
yes boxing should bend over for PBF due to him NAVIGATING his way through the weight classes to slay the golden goose and creating a name for himself in the process(dancing with the stars and WWE and other fabricated controversies). thats a lot of classes to jump and dominate the way he did. this imo classifies him as a great fighter and entertainer that can enhance the interest in the sport. hate it or love it he has adopted the hip-hop image that has garnered many with the attention of movie stars and other A listers in the public eye.
Has he pushed himself, thats up for debate. the limits you are talking about i.e. fighting the "best" wws, NO! But who is the best WW currently? There is no best! Thats my frustration. margie, cotto, clottey, or pw have yet to truly establish themselves. neither can say they are a cut above the rest and arum is denying us the opportunity to settle this. so if pbf beat one then he would have to fight the next and so forth and so on. I would love this format but lets face it, this guy has been at it for years and his time is almost up. I guarantee if these wws, jmw, or jww distinguish themselves as the best then there is no where for him to hide. the money and undisputed facts will force him to fight. the only 0 he cares about are the ones he can spend! until then he will cash in on easy mega paydays.Comment

Yes, but that's the past, this is the future. The improvements of the Pacman from that fight is "levels" higher. C'mon you men. Am I the only one that can see this? You guys should know more of this than me, a mere spectator and part time fan. Okay let me think...
The 2009 version of the Pacman will boast the following improvements:
a) Increased volume punching and power
b) Quicker jabs and lightning-fast punching from all angles
c) More elusive head and lateral movements
d) Speedier footwork
e) Anti-"Slick-boxer" defenses
f) Increased stamina and endurance
g) More intense opponent pressuring
h) Tougher head and body defenses
i) Stronger battle-tested chin
j) Wiser tactical boxing
The Pacman for 2009 will be even more focused, vicious, tougher, meaner, leaner and completely unstoppable than ever before.
Look out Mayweather. Your "0" will go after you've faced the "Pride of the Philippines."

Boxing don't need him. 2008 was fine without him, but obviously he's got unfinished business in the sport so it can be a good thing if he comes back. Of course the Pac fight really means nothin for him, but it is a big $ fight.Comment

ya boy gonna take a beatin' and you know it.....fall back and leave Floyd alone until he officially returns! Pac's ONLY chance to beat Floyd is to have the fight under 145.....even the Roach knows that!He goes into retirement after TKOing a guy that clearly was never meant for the 147lbs division in Hatton. It was clear as day after Callazo nearly had him out. He was smart and returned back down, only to go back up for the paycheck with Floyd. Now Floyd thinks he has the upperhand and that we REALLY need him back. Exactly why? Is it just because his mouth is more entertaining than his fights? I don't see how a man can go into retirement, avoid all the challenges at his weight this way, see how things play out, and then come back when he can find the least dangerous route but biggest pay. I mean, how are ATGs defied this way? They shouldn't be, and this is why boxing is so wrong. It needs to be played along a definite ranking system that means, if you beat boxer C, then B, then you face A. And in that order with no way of skipping or jumping inbetween. That's why it loses so many casual fans because they only tune in to these supermatches.

......get real ma'........the Diaz and DLH fights has really gassed you guys up! Pac will eat a str8 right hand buffet all night with a few left hooks for desert.....This is for certain!!
