Sanchez was a quintessential boxer-puncher. At 126 Pacquiao was an unfinished product - he would not survive, but it was prior to his prime.

People take too much credit in that. Mayweather was 106 when he was 16...Margarito started boxing at age 15 I believe and faught at 135 or 130 can't remember which. At that age the body is still growing...so stop making it seem as if Pac is a minimi at 140

Pacquiao's movement and speed would give Sanchez trouble but as we saw against Marquez, Pacquiao has trouble with sharp counterpunchers like Sanchez, it'd be a close fight on the cards as well because it normally took Sanchez 4 or 5 rounds to get started and sort his opponent out, he would win a clearer fight if it were a 15 round fight.

Salvador has never fought a southpaw like Pac.
And he keeps his guard low.
Pac will blitz him with straight punches all day.
If an unpolished Azumah nelson can give him a tough fight Pac will give him worse.
            pac by late KO.

he started his pro at super feather weight, pac at light fly weight. amateur fights doesn't count, some start they're amateur when they are 10 or 11 when they haven't hit puberty. imagine how much pac weighed when he was 10/11?

as well pacquiao actually had to cheat his weight(metal in pockets) to be able to box pro at light flyweight since the minimus was 106, he stated in the interview that he was actually 98 lb

Winning a Title Belt and beating the linear champ of the 112 division when Pacquiao was a teenager is incomparable because all of those guys like Floyd and Barrera who fought early in their careers didn't win a title at 112 or 115 in professional boxing.

                  Pac was still 16...

All I'm sayin is you can't go around saying a natural 106 pounder

Chava Sanchez was in another league of greatness..sad to see his career cut short but..

He would have DEMOLISHED Pac-man Prime-for-Prime at 126!!..

Power in both hands, footwork, chin, HEART, and decent speed?!..

Pacquiao would land some decent straight left bombs..but Salvador would take those and walk straight to Pacquiao walking him to a late TKO..Trust me..HE'D TKO PAC!!..

I agree but he fought at that weight and became a champion which Floyd Barrera, and Margarito never did. Some fighters started out but they jumped immediately. Pac meanwhile became a champion in which Buffer will always mention a former flyweight champion.
