but he didint, so im not even going to bother arguing, dude arguably was just entering his prime, thats a weak standard to judge him by, he didint live long enough to do any of that. Thats like if i said "if pac and erik fight at 122 in 1996, erik wins by KO" 122 was likely morales best weight, but does that matter? not really, because thats NOT where those fights took place. we only have one weight class to judge sanchez, and thats at 126.

This is the type of thread, fantasy matchups, where pacfans are in a no-win situation. Matching pac against past fighters where the majority of Manny's fans have not heard of, either they are purely Manny's fans or just too young to know them.

Choose Manny and all negative feedbacks will be thrown at you. The TS should specify who are qualified to reply. Otherwise, pacfans will always be pacfans, and if you are a hater, you will not like it.

Pacfans should avoid this sort of threads, as haters tend to use them to criticize you, being a fan of Manny.

As a Manny fan, I voted for him in the poll, but I watched the video of Salvador Sanchez in one of the replies here and he was really good, fast and got punching power. Now its ok to criticize me for choosing Manny, but please without name callings.

          Happy New Year All!

This is the sort of comment that makes other people see your true color. Criticizing one's inability to use the English language correctly.

Look, the guy never finished formal schooling, yet he is trying his best to speak the language. Plus, let me tell you now, that there are people who, even how hard they try to learn how to pronounce the words correctly, they would find it hard to do, for the simple reason that, 1) Manny's native tongue is Bisaya/Tagalog (2 filipino dialects), 2) Pronouncing foreign words are hard to learn especially if you are already an adult. (You should know that.. don't you?)

By your own standard, many Mexican boxers and other non-english speaking boxers, dont know how to speak english as well, but unlike Manny, they use translators. At least give Manny the credit for trying to speak on his own.

Its almost New Year ferocity... its time for your NY resolutions.. not yet too late.

Sanchez win in this fantasy fight!
But in reality Pacman kick his ass back to the grave. This the same ppl said Barerra, Marquez, De la hoya, and Morales II, III will kick Pacman ass but he proved them wrong while moving up in weight. Now they call back the dead person to fight Pac in fantasy fight to restore their honor and pride. Sanchez just won it! Bravo!

these are fantasy fights were we will NEVER really SEE how it will end up, but could ONLY assume or deduct how the fights will go...

for the sake of argument ...

I could concede that Erik who is a BEAST at 122 will beat the 122 developing version of PAC rather easily ...

I conceded ages ago that SAL beats the PAC@126 who only fought 3 fights at featherweight...

But I still believe the current PAC who is more of a 135/140 lber would just be to big, strong and fast for any version of SAL past 126...

this may be a weak standard to judge SAL, but this is the only way to have a better argument...

It's a tough fight to call.

SAL was insanely skilled for a Mexican fighter who are mostly known to brawl. Very fast and powerful for 126, but Pacman brings something else to the table that sometimes is looked over with fighters, and that's ATHLETICISM. His athleticism without a doubt has overshadowed his skills in the past, but they're finally getting to a parallel point which is going to be something to see in the next few years.

IMO, both can win the fight. I don't think neither dominates the other.
