    Hatton is bigger than DLH

I seriously think that this will be a good match for the both of them! Hatton- a slugger that throws his punches while he's close to his opponent and his face down to the ground, also a great power in his punches! Pacquiao- a toe to toe fighter, throw's akward punch, but accurate, strong, moves alot. DLH- old, weight drained, slow fighter, that cant pull the trigger. So why do we compare DLH to this other 2 fighters??? Make sense to y'all?

Not really. First, I don't think your assessment of those fighters is accurate, and second, I don't like the excuses for Oscar's defeat.

Pacquiao is favored to win based largely on his last performance.

The slight equalizer is that Manny does have 3 losses on his record, and Ricky has a higher knockout ratio.

If Floyd Sr is training Ricky for this fight, and Ricky follows the plan to the letter, I think he has a slight chance to pull an upset. Though Floyd did say he would want to prepare Ricky better at least two fights before facing Manny.

It's going to be a tough battle for Ricky cause he's just getting back in the game and Manny's on fire right now.
Only n00bz would favor Pac based on the Oscar fight. They should be ignored.

Manny has 3 defeats, yes. One in 1996 (12th fight, only a year after he turned pro), and one in 1999. The last defeat was a very close UD against an absolute boxing master, Erik Morales, who is vastly superior to Hatton in every department. He avenged those losses by knocking out Morales twice. By the time Pacquiao faces Hatton, it will be 4,10, and 13 years since he lost. Add into the equation that Pacquiao has only improved since then, and the losses become kinda insignificant.

Hatton has only a slightly higher KO percentage than Pacquiao. It's literally one or two percent at best, but Pacquiao has had more fights (53 vs. 46). Considering Pac's had more fights and still has an almost identical KO ratio, Hatton doesn't actually have an equalizer at all.

If Floyd Sr. is in Hatton's corner, it's not a good idea. Why? Because if Hatton does somehow beat Pac, he'd likely rematch Floyd Jr.

Floyd Jr. will want his father in his corner for that fight. And then what? Floyd Sr. exposes all of Ricky's weaknesses to Jr. and Ricky gets stopped even quicker than last time.

It's not really looking good for Hatton at all. I'm not saying he can't win, but he is already one step behind. Respect to Ricky if he pulls it off.

i love katsidis, one of my fav boxers but his trainer is the most unknowledgable lump of ****e in the game and he is holding Katsidis back big time

If he were a real friend to Mike, he would let him go

Pac not having the style to beat Hatton? Well noone seems to have the style to beat Hatton at 140lb.
It is a hard fight to call. Pac could well lose this one, but then again. Hatton hasnt lost but it may be time for him to lose . Im assuming Hatton must lose someday and why not against Pac?

Ok you win, ill let you feel good about your "Only one Ricky Hatton".
I wont argue with you anymore and just wait for the fight. But before I go please tell me why Hatton didnt see Floyds check hook coming even after Floyd was throwing it prior to the knock out? Maybe its because he was too busy trying to hold and smother Floyd and kept his face open to much.
Oops, a simple Check Hook drops Hatton imagine what a straight left would do.
