Have to agree it's been a good year for the Brits. Not a big fan of Joe C because he spent the year beating gummers, but Hatton has grown on me (even if he'll never beat Super Floyd, Margarito or Cotto) and I hope he gives Manny P a go in 2009. Would also like to see Haye give Wladimir Klitschko a good fight because Klitschko's one-sided title fights have gotten boring. Am also hoping to see Brits Maccarinelli, Dean Francis, Froch, Jamie Moore and Kevin Mitchell fight some decent opposition in 2009

Mitchell is apparently going after the IBF title at SFW. He has been injured recently and is due back in action in early Feb I think. He does need to step it up though. SFW is a weak division, but he should have faced better opposition by this stage of his career.
I'd like to see Jamie Moore step it up a bit too, not sure why he hasn't fought in an eliminator or something. Hopefully he will soon as he isn't getting any younger.

As for Moore, he needs to get a major fight pretty soon. Sergio Martinez was in much the same boat, getting minor fights until he got a title (interim) shot at age 33. While he's in the spotlight now, it makes me wonder if we missed the best of Martinez and I hope that doesn't happen to Moore.
The fight I really want to see is Hatton-Manny P. I think that could be a heck of a row and Hatton would give Manny a hell of a lot better fight than the washed-up DLH.

I'm looking forward to Hatton-Pac as well, it's an interesting styles matchup and should be very entertaining.
