i did not know why PW turn him down (unlike other people i don't pretend to know everything) but at the end Cotto and Mayweather did nothing for PW in reality...it was Pw lost after all cause he got nothig out of it... now all that is left is to chase after a big payaday!!!

Marg/Clottey was a war. They were BOTH fighting injured and if you watch it again closely Clottey reached his limit. He almost gave up a couple of times. So don't say he 'spanked' Marg.

...the facts are he turned down a rematch with Clottey and Williams, and when he had a title and Judah had the other 3 he never steped up to fight the undisputed champ. those are the facts.....haha

why should margarito even think of williams. Marg has already scheduled a re-match with Cotto after the Mosley fight. Margarito's time is on two fighters and that is a half year's worth of boxing time.

Williams should think of trying to get a Vernon Forrest or a Kelly Pavlik.

This issue has been discussed to death. Margarito was not supposed to fight Williams to begin with because of potential match with Cotto in 07. After he lost the first match why would he fight him again to risk another loss, and kill potential Cotto match in 2008. Williams didn't reject a rematch, how could he if Margarito came into the fight as champion having the power to make rematch clause in contract. He went on to fight Johnson, Cintron to get belt and look impressive to warrant a match with Cotto; something an immediate rematch would have ruined. And rejected the rematch for the 2nd time for easier match in Mosley then Cotto again. He is not scared, but Arum will not let the fight happen before Cotto.

Look for Pwill to try to conquer the 154 lb division. History shows that the WW Champ, actually any division champ, will move up to the next division after cleaning out a division. While he is cleaning out 154, Margs can try to clean out 147 and the rematch may happen in 2010 if all happens as stated. Otherwise, I see them going to separate ways and never fighting again because I pick Shane to beat Margs.

ive lost respect 4 margarito. this fight couldve happend but instead he took a fight with a washd up sugartank mosley..what a puss. pw got the whole division shook. margarito takin the easy way out.. cotto can never beat him and shane has no chance..b a ****in man and fight the punisher and attempt 2 avenge a loss
