I'm glad that Margarito is making Paul Williams wait. See what everyone is not realizing or maybe didn't know is that Paul Williams didn't want a rematch. After the last fight he was boasting about that the fight was the rematch because he had already beat him in a sparring session. Now that Margarito's stock went up and there's more money in fighting him, he all of a sudden is putting this money up and that money up to fight him. I think the fight will happen in time but Margarito already has his agenda for the next couple fights. Williams is younger than Margarito so he'll be there unless he moves up to 160lbs and gets his silly lanky ass knocked out. Against Margarito in the first fight he threw a lot of slappy punches and a lot were being gloved. (yes I do have the fight on video so I've seen it) Margarito started out a lot slower than he does now and was catching him with heavy shots down the stretch. He made it close but gave too many of the early rounds away. Since then, Williams has not boxed as much and is trying to stand and fight without as much movement. He's overwhelmingly taller than everyone but he's too lanky. If he doesn't use movement (or even if he does but Margarito starts faster) he'll get tko'd late with body shot slowing him down. Right now he's going up and down in the weight divisions but he's fighting 3rd rate fighters. I know everyone has to realize that. I just hope Margarito fights him soon while he's still healthy rather than fighting him too late when he's on the decline. I'd have rather seen Margarito fight Cotto in February than see him fight Mosley. It seems as though he wants to fight Mosley because it's a long time coming due to the fact that Mosley never wanted to fight him. No it's satisfaction to be able to fight him.

As much as I dislike Margarito, I know he's not scared to fight anyone and I really hope he makes it a point to avenge his loss against Williams. It would be a good fight. I thought the first one was entertaining enough anyhow. Besides, that will truly soldify him as the Welterweight kingpin.

How is Margarito "ducking" Williams when the man fought him already and asked for an inmediate rematch right after the loss and was rejected? I mean are you people insane? I do want to see this fight happen but all this "Margarito is scared of Williams" is bull****, you people are too demented and narrow minded to realize this, the more you stuff your face on Williams crotch the more asinine bull**** you spew.

Williams is still a growing fighter,.. he won't even be able to make weight naturally and effectively by the time Margarito gets ready for him,.. He'd be smart to leave Margarito alone unless Tonys' willing to fight at a higher catch weight,.. which would not be to his advantage.

This is a fairly well-reasoned post except for your slam on Paul's "3rd rate" opponents. You've obviously never been in the ring mano y mano Mr. "the truth_623" or you wouldn't be denigrating real men like Verno Phillips. Don't show your ignorance in the future and show warranted respect or I might have to start insults in your direction.

Paul Williams is dimented for chasing Margarito. He already beat him, clearly. Margarito should be chasing him, unless he can find bigger money fights. Oh yeah, he has. Pauls gonna have to wait or slap more cash on the barrelhead.

You've either never seen Shane's whole career or you don't recognize his talent in the ring. Mosley's gift isn't JUST based on speed, strength, or ability to never make a mistake, His gift is his ability to think and problem solve in the ring.
Don't discredit him because of Mayorga. Mayorga was wild and all over the place. It wasn't Shane's fault that Ricardo made the fight look bad!
A 'brawler with fast hands'!?!?!?!?! SNAP OUT OF IT!!! Brawlers are disorderly. Shane makes plans A & B before the fight, and is even able to switch to plan C & D if he has to in a moments notice. Even INVENTING combos as he goes along.
Yea, maybe Shane might get beat, but don't write off his talent in disrespect as if he's not a 'great opponent'.

he wants to fight moseley because its an easy payday. nothing more than that. The same with the cotto rematch. he knows being a face 1st pressure fighter will only last so long so he is trying to cash out asap. get your money margie but don't parade around the world as if your the baddest ww on the planet! thats my problem with margie.
