Why boxing and UFC should not be compared

I like them both. I box in the ams and recently I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so I can respect the ground game/submissions a little more. I think why some boxing fans aren't into mma as much as guys from the other martial arts is that you get to see world class wrestling and jiu-jitsu... When boxing fans see wrestlers try to stand up and punch they're like wtf is this ****, they suck. The future generation of mma stand-up will better, but boxing is still light years ahead when you're talking about throwing the hands.

Both is a way of life, and i hope you werent tryin to downplay MMA as just the type of sport were you dont have to be in the best shape to do it, cos youd be very wrong, without the handfull of fighters that look like they belong in a hotdog eating contest most MMA fighters have some amazing bodys which cant be said for alot of boxers, UFC even have a heavyweight limit of 265, something boxing should have brought into play along time ago, then maybe the heavys wouldnt be looked at like a waste of someones spunk.
The point is, MMA and boxing is 2 different sports, one wants to see who the better fighter is, and one wants to see who the better boxer is, theres lots of silly ways to look at both sides.... mma is for blood thursty dumb guys, boxing is for guys who wanna fight, but wanna take out everythin else and just punch each other in certin parts,

WHO GIVES A **** REALLY MMA rocks, boxing rocks, both have there good fighters, both have **** fighters, both make money, both lose out on money, both will survive, neither will ever get put out by the other

UFC is relatively new, half the people in the UK dont even know UFC exists, let alone know champions in divisions.

Michael Bisping a UFC Middleweight was voted most popular fighter in the UK so what the **** are you talking about.

i suppose theres always going to be a market for pro wrestling, as its just wrestling theatre. MMA and Boxing are real and I don't see why they can't co-exist?

I enjoy watching both, i think both sports have good and bad points and i look forward to BIG ufc bouts almost as much as i look forward to BIG boxing bouts.

Fanatical fans are the ones that want one or the other to die out but casual fans just want to see some action

Im telling you right now UFC will NEVER replace WWE...ever..u can forget about it..WWE is f***** HUGE outside of america and hell even IN america it may not be like in the late nineties or early 2000 when Stone Cold and Rock dominated but its still HUGE. These *******s make MAD money from merchandising and ticket sales, payperview rev etc..again..even though its not as big as before The WWE is simply a Merchandising Juggernaut and its not going ANYwhere anytime soon..All they do is touring man over and over and over..it aint going nowhere.

Of course not. There will be drastic changes though. Because they changed their "genre" to Entertainment, they won't be competing with sport related PPV next year. The quality of fans and athletics will change drasticly as well. The median will skew closer to kids while talent with and athletic talent will fall to nill.

It'll turn cartoon once Real Pro Wrestling starts making it's return.
