Oh yeah, please stop saying floyd "would have beaten figther #". that doesn't prove ****.

pay attention to my post.. i never said he would beat a certain fighter.. i said even if he were to beat certain fighters he wouldnt get respect

      i appreciate the support homie..
i never said he can beat ray robinson or that he is greater than ray robinson.. its quite difficult to even compare the two.. i dont even think floyd's best division is welter, he's only had a handfull of fights in that division

It would really help if floyd wasnt such a **** b4 the fight, and a gentlemen after the fight.

Floyd is obviously the most talented boxer weve seen in years, and many posters aknowledge that. What ppl really dont like about him is the amount of trash he talks, compared to the way he wins. Mayweather would talk all kinds of **** comming into the fight, but once he steps foot in the ring, he decides to make it a boxing match.

I dont think ppl want to see him lose, they just want to see him in the ring with someone who will make him fight to win, because deep down inside, everyone knows that in a boxing match, there is no match for floyd mayweather

Oh yeah i agree that he is one of the most talented boxers of our era but the simple fact that he refuses to use those skills against fighters with skills themselves makes his career a very frustrating spectacle to watch. B- fighter after B- fighter got really old when we all knew he should have been fighting nothing but A+ talent.

I write fans only so we could have a constructive civil conversation..And once again flamers flame up the thread. If the floyds haters spend the amount of energy promoting and buying their favorite fighter fights as they do hating and buying floyd's fights we would have more stars in the sport of boxing. except 4 Oscar,Floyd,Hatton and Pacquaio. instead we expect Mayweather 2 make everybody famous by fighting them, and not asking the other fighters to put in the same amount of work floyd had too...

He definitely won't get respect when he got fans desecrating other nation's flags.

But Horus Floyd is very respected, I look at the detractors and haters as a sign of that respect. 85% of the Floyd threads are made by haters and detractors and he is retired, go figure. If Floyd wasnt respected these same people would not make 70% more threads than his fans.

that is true. and i made this point before. but maybe i am just dont like the blatant double standards that people have 4 one fighter and not the others.

To be honest the only person I saw him ducking was Cotto, what everyone forgets is that PBF is a LW maybe even a SFW yet the get on him for not fighting Marg (A boiled down SMW or at least MW) and Pwill (Who's bigger than all the SMW top 10 and most of the LHW top 10)

For a guy who's spent the best part of his career fighting at 130 it's a bit rich getting on his case about thinking twice about fighting guys who could easily fight at 168 or 175.

Either way 147 was just the icing on the cake of a great career not the cake itself. I would rather PBF left at 30 record intact than do a RJJ and ruin his reputation by fighting for 4-5 years when he couldn't do himself justice anymore.

How can you not agree or see them as ATG's, but still say that someone else could have them classified as it. It's like you're trying to justify your nuthugging.

SRR was a 5'10 Welterweight with great power, great stamina, great chin, great skills (including great timing, combinations, footwork, and ring knowledge) good-great speed. Saying he wouldn't survive in this era automatically devalues your boxing opinion, that of course, in my opinion.
Can you mutha****as read? i said "and btw. srr is one that u cant despute. but srl is w/e to me because i think that in this era he wouldnt survive. but thats just my opinion"

yall are ****** dude i swear it. i never said they wanst great i said that srl wouldnt survive in this era. mike jordan is still the best, but he could gaurd lebron james get me?
