i like floyd.. but that was really a really long post to claim how great it is. great fighters not need to convince other people how great their are by running their mouth. they convince them by their actions. not by LOGIC.

"Floyd is ducking" is code language for: Im a hater and I want to see this bastard lose before I die.

I dont mind the critics, I just wish they would mix a bit more logic and reason into their arguments.

he did 39 times, most of those times against top quality opposition, often with bigger guys. But he never lost, so hes too perfect, he doesnt get hit so ppl say he doesnt risk (how fighting in the pocket like he does without getting hit is not risky?).****s always going to be the same

Last year everybody was raving about him ducking Cotto. Now that Cotto lost nobody is raising him, they went back to say hes ducking Margarito. If he'd beat Cotto back then and after that we had Cotto-Margarito, ppl would say 'oh his win against Cotto means ****, he was an hypejob who lost to Margarito right after'.

Floyd has respect. I don't understand this thread.

I think the ultimate compliment is for fans of other fighters to want him to fight thier favorite fighters , to battle the top welters, etc because they want to see if he can be an ATG in different divisions.

I think people give PBF a ton of respect. It's not like anyone ever dismisses his skills.

Maybe if he was unretired, we can see stuff like that.

              Historical type stuff.

Doesnt Floyd discredit his own wins the most?

Sorry, but I think its hilarious that a bunch of Floyd fans criticise people for talking **** about his opponents when HE DOES EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!

Isnt it FLOYD who said Hatton never beat anyone in their prime? Isn't it Floyd who was calling Hatton and De La Hoya ******* in his video the other day?

The person who talks the most **** about Floyd's opponents is FLOYD MAYWEATHER so quit crying.

So if you want to agree with Floyd when he talks ****...

Why dont you agree with him when he says he is the greatest ever..???

Are do you just use selective Hearing, and agree when it fits your argument..??

Im not agreeing or disagreeing with anything Mayweather says.

I'm just saying, if haters think Mayweather's opponents suck...and Mayweather thinks his opponents suck...his opponents probably suck right?

You cant diss his haters for doing exactly what he's doing. It just doesn't make sense?

i think floyd has a decent resume. he just had many opportunities to make himself even greater than he is that he passed. i gave him credit for beating hatton, de la hoya, coralles, etc. but he should have fought tsyu, marg, cotto, casa, etc...
