    Petition to the WBA

It was a horrible fight, but what do you expect of a 46 year old man. this was a terrible robbery. I know its pretty much impossible to give Holyfield the win at this point, but lets petition to the WBA to overturn the decision in favor of Holyfield. Its worth a shot.

I had it 115-113 Holyfield. So it was a close fight with a lot of close rounds that was difficult to score. Especially in front of the tele.

The robbery cry here on NSB right now is kinda lame.

The question one gotta ask oneself is: Could you see the other guy winning? Although I had Holyfield winning, I can understand the 2 judges that saw it differently.

For Valuev to LOSE 115-113 would be a GIFT to him. Were you watching the same fight? Holyfield won 8 rounds minimum! Holyfield landed some monster hooks, and Valuev landed a handful of jabs all damn night. Absolutely horrendous decision.

I have never seen such a bad decision in my whole life.

What can we do to protest this?

A judge had Valuev winning 8 rounds to 4. Are you serious with this? Holyfield won 5 of the first 6 rounds without question.

no one on this entire site had Valuev winning. not one.

Didn't you see Holmes-Spinks II or Ottke-Reid or DLH-Sturm? Much, much worse than this.

Um, absolutely not? Valuev followed Holyfield around all night, frequently allowed Holyfield to strike first, and when he wasn't doing that, and actually throwing punches, Holyfield was making Valuev miss and counterpunching him with ease. I gave Valuev 3 rounds, and I think 2 should be more like it (rounds 2 and 8, i believe.). I'm not one to cry "robbery" often, but that's what this was. Plain and simple.
