Of course hes a great boxer and hes one of my favorites, although i do believe the injury thing is just an excuse from his fans to why he lost. Just like when Dawson beat Adamek and he was all of a sudden ''weight'' drained even when before the fight, he stated that he felt great. *********.com is my number one source for boxing news, and i do not remember seeing any article about Kessler being injured. Think about it, why did he suffer his first injury in the biggest fight of his life and why didn't he postpone?

Kessler usually spars 100+ rounds before the big fights. Here he didn't spar in the last 3 weeks because of the injury.

His hand was surgically repaired after the Calzaghe fight contributing to his 7 month 'lay-off' that followed.

On Kessler's homepage theres pics from the hospital where he had the surgery.
