Ironically, the only fighter they have right now that actually won a belt isn't even Cebuano.

pinoys or not, it would be hard to follow in the footsteps of pacman. what he'd done was open again the boxing world to filipino prospects.

tell me, how many hundreds of mexican boxers are out there now and their ratio to someone as great as their JCC? or lets just say on the level of MAB/EM/JMM?

The only Flips I can see becoming big Filipino icons are Nonito Donaire and Bernabe Concepcion.

I could name 10 heavyweights that have achieved more than Pacman.

                That's impossible. I can name only 9.

There will be great Filipino fighters but no one can ever be like Pacquiao. Even if a Filipino became a champion, undefeated, exiting figher, blah blah blah, he would never be like Pacquiao. No one can ever replace him. No matter hard he tried.

You must of forgot about Danny Williams mate.

I'm not hating, just not getting carried away with myself. I have him higher than guys like Mayweather, Calzaghe and De La Hoya for what it's worth.
