I actually think that only avid boxing fans are interested in Floyd coming out of retirement.

Casual fans have all but forgotten about Floyd, and it hasn't even been a year since his retirement.

Like I've said before, Floyd has NEVER been a people's champion, and with his lackluster style, and arrogance, probably never will be if he returns.

Most of the people I know who want to see him come back, hope he does, only to see him get beaten.

I seriously doubt Pac fights two more times and calls it quits.
Yeah, but how many continue with no hands?

If you don't have hands to throw, how are you going to fight?

And how many losses do those fighters end up with and what are the physical and mental condition after their career is over?

Floyd is walking and talking and looking pretty right now. I can't say the same for many others in the sport.
And remember, when you become Mentally and Physically bruised for life from your fighting days, that's your best chance of losing control of your money.

It’s one thing to have a new injury during the fight, maybe even during training camp, but to have a consistent problem that only gets worse; that's a serious problem.

Even Oscar knew it was bad which is why he made Floyd wear "Reyes" gloves instead of his usual "Winning" gloves.

People talk about Floyd being boring; pot-shotting even...but if his hands are the reason, why go on?

And what if Pac does retire after a couple more fights like Freddie wants him to; then what?

Good for him. He has made so much money. I know money is not everything but he already was p4p Nr.1 so he really had the right to retire. Why has every fighter to fight until they are 40 or until their past it??

Because many people want to see the "Show" close with a death scene. "
"Give me everything you got until the end. We want to use you up and dry you out until there is nothing left."

                Sad World.

What's funny is when these same people see Fightes end up like Ali, they say "how dumb that guy was for staying so long; how sad; he deserved it"

LOL; you’re like a reporter who takes things out of context. Funny.

                  You didn't get the sentence.

Anyway, so if Pac retires after 2 more fights; what do you have to say?

And, if a fighter can't throw because of his hands, what do you do?

And, how long is long enough?

                  Was Rocky Marciano a *****?

Benny Leonard actually retired around 30. Source I just read says 28. He stayed out of boxing for 7 years and only came back because it was said he lost money in stocks.

And what about other athletes like Jim Brown and Barry Sanders: retired early in their prime. *******?

                    Dude, you keep making excuses.

So what he has injuries. Most fighters do. They're not retiring in their primes avoiding the best possible competition all while degrading that best possible competition.

I'm talking boxing, not football. Stick with the program. I understand you have a hard-on for the dude, but lets be real here.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. insisted he was the best boxer in the history of the sport.

He didn't want to prove it.

How are you going to fight without Hands?
He has fought for a long time with the injuries so how much longer do you wish him to fight?
Hands don't get better when you are a fighter.

Look at Gatti and Pauli M: they injured their hands in just about every fight once there hands reached the breaking point. I've even heard Floyd injured his hands against Oscar but didn't make it a big deal because that is boxing.

Injuried Hands = Problems in training and then problems in Fighting.

If you are going to face certain fighters, you need to throw and it's obvious Floyd can't throw as much anymore and that means he is not at his best.

OH, and you don't know the difference between Excuses and Reasons.

Excuse is when you lie about something

And Football players have a similar mentality. Barry Sanders, as well as many other football players, RBs especially, tend to retire early because they don't want to suffer long term damage.

If Floyd can't throw, the opponent has the upper hand.

How are you going to stop a guy like Margarito who punches non-stop and is aggressive if you have brittle hands?
One punch to Margarito's head and you can kiss your hands good-bye.

                      Reason: an actual problem

For degrading his competition: This, I agree with you and I posted my disapproval.

Oh, and just because I stick up for a fighter in a particular discussion and you don't like him doesn't mean I love the guy. If I was a die-hard fan I wouldn't rip him in anyway.

You proved to be the same as certain posters; what a shame.

So answer this: If Pac retires after two more fights, is he a *****?
