    Bob Arum just ruined 2009

All of this is going to end really badly for both Mayweather fans and Mayweather haters.

Not only will Bob Arum deprive us of the biggest fight of the century, but its very possible that Ricky Hatton WINS that fight in May, and Floyd will officially have no incentive whatsoever to come back to the sport of boxing.

Freddie Roach had it right by calling out the biggest name first. If you lose, you lose against the best there is, if you win, you are a God. This Ricky Hatton garbage will blow up in there faces.

With that said, I would officially change the thread title to "Bob Arum has saved boxing in 2009". Since Floyd has been gone we have gotten more quality match ups in and around his division. I'd like to see the Pac fight, but if it doesn't happen and Floyd stays retired, I won't be shedding any tears.

Did you see their ppv numbers? Those guys need to build themselves up into superstars to the point where they can generate at LEAST 300k on their own.

Hatton, De la hoya and Pacman are the only ones in weathers weight range that can guarantee a million buys.

Mayweather has already fought 2 of them. If the guy he KO'd beats the pacman their will be no incentive for may to come back.

I simply love how Mayweather jockeys defend Floyd from Cotto or Margs by using the money angle. Psst, come here for a minute. Let me let you in on a little secret almost everybody else already knows....................................FLOYD IS ALREADY RICH!!!! If legacy isn't incentive enough, then stay retired.

Why do you even care about Floyd? His legacy sucks and he didn't fought the best when he was fighting at 147... He should stay retired and shut the F U C K up.

Tell me any PPV numbers from PBF before DLH. They were ****ty. Everybody would love to see either Cotto or Margarito vs Floyd. Since PBF is a huge draw he wont have a any problems selling a PPV, with 2 of the best WW, wich happends to have great followings.

                  This excuse is lame!!!!!!

I prefer to watch Hatton -Pac than Floyd.
And I dont think Pac is gonna fight any longer at 147
and i doubt Floyd would make 140
