First of all Hatton is gonna get destroyed by Pac. But even if Hatton somehow won or even if Pac won for that matter, he is Floyd's only challenger. Margarito, Cotto, and even Paul Williams have plenty they want to show and prove to the world against Floyd. Of course that would require Floyd to grow some balls first so i guess shame on me for bringing that up...

Mayweather already has his titles and p4p accolades, if you want to get a guy like that back in the smelly gym you need greenery. Margs & Cotto are boring.

Get your facts right. Margarito-Cotto had about 450K buys.

          Mayweather is a win/win situation for Pac-man.

If he loses, no one will fault him, and he can return to lightweight, dominate, and retire as a great fighter.

If he wins, all bets are off and he can truly call himself an ATG alongside SRR and Armstrong.

Hatton is nothing more than a quick buck.

Manny Pacquiao is going to roll over Hatton. The fight is going to end quicker than DLH/Pac and Hatton/Mayweather. I don't know how people can't see that. There is no danger in this fight. Any one of us could hit Hatton with left hands. Manny's will kill him. Plus, Manny's bouncing side to side will shut down Hatton's offense since Hatton needs his opponent to back up or stand in front of him, not bounce around.

Hatton and Manny are the same size. Hatton just always packed more muscle on. Manny is the more physically gifted, the more skilled fighter, and maybe even mentally tougher (though that may be a wash), and it is a bad style matchup for Ricky. Hatton doesn't stand a chance in hell.

Not only will Bob Arum deprive us of the biggest fight of the century, but its very possible that Ricky Hatton WINS that fight in May, and Floyd will officially have no incentive whatsoever to come back to the sport of boxing.

Freddie Roach had it right by calling out the biggest name first. If you lose, you lose against the best there is, if you win, you are a God. This Ricky Hatton garbage will blow up in there faces.
Pacman is going to destroy hold em and hit em Hitman!!!!!!!!!!! Then we will see the ultimate fight for the fighter of the decade-Pacman vs Pretty Boy!!!!!!!

Since Floyd has been gone we have gotten more quality match ups in and around his division. I'd like to see the Pac fight, but if it doesn't happen and Floyd stays retired, I won't be shedding any tears.

                    I thought Cotto-Marg did close to 500k?

The MGM Grand Garden Arena seats 16,000. A disappointing crowd of 10,477 attended the fight. Puerto Rico vs. Mexico is still essentially an east coast rivalry. The bout would have been better attended had it taken place at Madison Square Garden or in Atlantic City. But Arum’s judgment was vindicated by the first post-fight pay-per-view numbers, which indicate that there were close to 500,000 buys.
