Chad Dawson's Manager Would Love a Hopkins Fight

I spoke with IBF Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson's manager Mike Criscio on Monday afternoon to get his thoughts on Bernard Hopkins' recent comments and also to find out what's next for 'Bad Chad'. [details]

I don't think Hopkins would be damaging if he loses to Dawson, Dawson has more to lose in the fight than Hopkins IMO, I'd like to see that fight.

This sounds goods. This is a way to lure Calzaghe in. I mean if Dawson beats Hopkins more convicingly that Calzaghe, he might lure Calzaghe in for a fight in Wales!!!!!!!

this fight is pointless for hopkins. beating dawson wont add to his legacy, all he has done so far is win a controversial decision vs johnson and beat up on an old tarver, 2 fighters hopkins dominated in their prime.
bhop wont stop at nothing to get the calzaghe rematch and we all know he deserves it, the first fight was too close for joe to just retire, he has to clearly beat hopkins, and with the confidence bhop is fighting with right now that will be a big risk for calzaghe, hop has already agreed to go to wales to make it happen but joe keeps using the same excuse on why he doesnt want to fight him, saying that hes racist and he doesnt like him
but he jus doesnt wanna get in the ring with a recharged hopkins

Hopkins would mess Dawson up. That is actually a perfect win for Hopkins to retire from this sport, but lets see if he thinks he can beat Dawson or what.

Dawson is too fast and busy for Hopkins,.. plus his defense is more clever than Tarvers or Pavliks,.. I like Dawson,.. but I'd like to see him tie up the lose ends by rematching Johnson,.. there's good money in the rematch,.. and I think Dawson would win by a wider margin.

that would be 3 40yr olds in a row for Chad for a guy with his talents that would be lame....but then again B-Hop is ARGUABLY the best 40yr. old boxer in the history of the sport. Chad should go to Wales and hit Joe with a raw egg or something like that But if Chad wants to do it and lose his 0 and a BIGGER pay day with Calzaghe down the road like Pavlik did....thats cool with me. I got Hopkins by late KO.

Chad Dawson needs to beat some of the young guys in his division. He is turning into a right OAP killer.

What's he supposed to say? "We don't want anything to do with Hopkins, we're afraid of him." That's some real crackerjack reporting.

If he did people would not know who the guys are. People call Dawson unknown, imagine if he fought Francis, Diaconu, Erdei, Cloud, and George. People would say he is fighting nobodies and afraid of the old top dogs.
