I used to like him, but recently he's turned out to be a **** and I changed my mind.

I used to idly boost Carl Froch, but then he said some things about Joe Calzaghe (my idol) and now I think he's a big blue meanie.




Carl is no less likeable than he was before he won the WBC and stated that he'd rather fight Pavlik than Holy Joe. That is, very likeable, hard working, a good guy, easy to root for. He's just playing whatever card he can play to try and get Calzaghe in the ring with him, that's the business he's in.
Take the Joe-tinted goggles off. You embarrass yourself.

Nothing has happened to Froch/Taylor.

Froch's promoter can't make Froch/Kessler until Taylor walks away from the table, which we've seen no signs of happening yet.

This is all just hot air, probably a negotiating tactic to get a bigger split from Taylor, or to convince him to come to the UK.

Funny strategy, because Taylor himself is the name and financial draw in the division and could probably sign a fight with Bute or Kessler at any time.

Yes it is obviously negotiating tactics. It's a game of who lands the fights and who gets let down.

But doesn't Froch have 6 months before he has to fight Taylor, his mandatory? If so then there's plenty of time for a Kessler fight which BTW appears to go ahead in Britain (if it comes off that is.)

Why not Taylor now? Jeez. Match makers and fighters are as scatty and fickle as anything at the moment - it's ridiculous.

Taylor was one thing, but Kessler beats Froch easier. Froch's team are very brave to put him in with Taylor, ****** to put him in with Kessler.

I don't know why they don't just stick to their goddam plans. Kessler has a needed fight in the US and Froch Taylor. Meet up later if needs be...
