That would be a good eliminator - but I'd prefer to see Vitali vs. Haye next.

Anyway most people have never heard of Gomez, so Vitali fighting Haye would be a MUCH better fight for the fans and for the sport of boxing. And, it would generate three times as much revenue than Vitali-Gomez.

Screw the belts, let's make the fight most fans want to see: Haye vs. Vitali.
You said something the opposite of this when it had to deal with Dawson-Tarver-Diaconu.

I'm sorry, but Gomez has fought 2 elimination bouts. Haye can wait a little while and have another fight.

Oh piss off. That's absolutely ridiculous. How pissed off would you be having to fight 3 ****ing eliminators? If Vitali wants the easier fight then let him step aside and let Gomez fight for the title.

Also, this would probably be Gomez' best shot at getting Klitschko, Klitschko has already said that he would vacate if he has to fight Gomez so Haye would probably get Klitschko first, if he fights and beats Haye it creates more publicity for a fight between him and Klitschko which makes a fight between him and Klitschko more likely. I know it's frustrating for him but if he wants Klitschko, this could be the best way.

Haye-K is much bigger, but if Gomez wants it, make em fight an eliminator wit Haye.

The difference is, David Haye is not a faded old fighter like Antonio Tarver, he's an exciting, very popular 28 year old. He's not a cokehead like Gomez either, and he's never been KOed in round one by a clubfighter like Gomez has.

The biggest, most popular heavyweight fight that can be made in 2009 is David Haye vs. either Klitschko. I want to see the heavyweight division have a higher profile - Vitali vs. Haye will help to achieve that, Vitali vs. Gomez will not.

And that can be made AFTER he fights Gomez. Is Haye going to fade away off the face of the planet while Klitschko fights Gomez? Why the rush?

Because Vitali is getting old - he'll be 38 next year.

I think he'll fight only once more, then let Wlad unify the titles.
