Chad Dawson isn't the best light heavy, that should go to Glen Johnson. For a fight that almost everyone felt he lost except Chad Dawsons fans, he really didn't feel like shutting anyone up by giving Johnson the rematch. If judges knew how to score fights and we didn't have so many judges who judge fights like Julie Lederman in this sport, Dawson wouldn't even be undefeated.

Punching someone in the gloves does not count as landed punches, is it honestly that hard to be a judge?

you had hopkins beating calzaghe right? dawson landed ten times more punches than calzaghe ever did against hopkins. so did you or did you not have hopkins winning or are you a big fat stinking hypocrite?

calzaghe sidestepped every notable opponent to fight shot jones jr. tarver at least had a belt and was one of the best light heavies at the time. roy jones jr was nothing.

Yet Calzaghe fights a 43 year old Hopkins and a 39, near 40 year old SHOT version of Roy Jones, and he's NOT a fraud? I'm not trying to insight a feud, man, but you can't play one side and not recognize the other.

Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver were really the two biggest credible threats to Dawson at the time, and the only way he could clear out the LHW division. Tarver had just smashed Clinton Woods in 12 rounds, and Johnson gave Dawson the fight of his life, which I scored a draw, by the way.

And I wouldn't necessarily consider Calzaghe an "old guy" even though technically he is. He throws close to if not over 1,000 punches a fight, and he's recognized as at LEAST a Top 5 P4P fighter right now. If Dawson ended up whooping Joe's ass, it'd be hypocritical to say Calzaghe was an "old guy", cause he sure as hell doesn't fight like one.

tarver had the ibf belt and was higher rated than diaconu. understand lil man? calzaghe sidestepped hopkins, dawson, tarver, and johnson all who were higher rated than roy jones in everyones eyes. sidestepping someone to fight someone better is looked down upon? and sidestepping good opponents to fight someone who is crap is congratulated?
